oSenior Production Technology Engineer
I am working for KHALDA Petroleum Company in district engineering
Sector KHALDA is a joint company with apache working in western desert in Egypt,
During that period, I was held SENIOR PETROLEUM ENGINEER position
(As SUMPETCO ENG.MANAGER ).
KHALDA has many gas and oil fields. The most of oil wells are producing by ESP, SRP
And Jet Pump Technique the details of my work experiences during that period are as follows:
1)Performing and/or witnessing the following jobs:
* Drill stem test(DST), hydraulic fracturing, proppant clean-out and gravel pack
* Chemical jobs ( matrix stimulation, tubing cleaning, corrosion & scale inhibition)
* Perforation jobs (TCP, through tubing perforation)
* Well logging (PLT,RST,TDT,USIT, GR-CCL)
* Well tests (RFT, PBU, PFOT, SS, Echo meter survey)
* Wire line work ( rig less recompilation, tubing gauging)
* CTU work (sand and scale cleaning, stimulation, lifting with N2)
* ESP water back wash, diesel back wash and acid back wash
2)Analyzing the following well logs qualitatively:
* Open hole logs (resistively, LDL, CNL) to develop completion and/or Recompilations recommendations.
* Cased hole logs (PLT, TDT, USIT, CBL) to develop stimulation, water shut- off,Perforation/Reperforation, and work over recommendations as required.
3)Following up the total oil and gas production of many of western desert Oil and gas fields to develop a corrective action as required.
4)Following-up the performance of oil, gas, and water injection wells of many of western desert fields To develop remedial actions for any problematic well as required. Most of oil wells are producing by Artificial lift (ESP, SRP & JP) operations.
5)Analyzing the following well tests for producing and water injection wells: repeat formation tester(RFT), static survey (SS) and echo meter survey
6)Recommending and/or preparing stimulation, well-bore cleaning, scale inhibition, water shut-off, and
Work over, well test, CTU and wire line work, cased hole logging, and perforation programs.
7)Using the computer software (Microsoft word, Excel, and PowerPoint) to build up different database.
8)Planning, following-up, and supervising well testing, walkovers, stimulation and well-bore cleaning,Unloading wells using CTU and N2, and CTU and wire line WORK.
9)Conducting in-depth engineering studies about a specific issue such as:
* Design and/or modification of oil wells' flow lines and trunk lines. Also, design and/or extension of manifolds for oil and water injection wells according to the development plan.
10)Tenders' processing
* Set up the scope of work
* Technical offers evaluation
* Commercial offers evaluation
12)Supervision and mentoring of more junior engineers.
13)Follow-up well tests, well operations, field activities, etc. where appropriate.
14)Perform, analyze and interpret an ECHOMETER survey.
15)preparing troubleshooting programs for artificial lift wells such as ESP, SRP.
16)Provide leadership and technical expertise in some or all of drilling, stimulation, testing,Production, work-over and other subsurface and surface engineering.
17)Preparing & supervision the Slim Hole Project (Rig less Operation) which included:
-Record the CBL-VDL log through 5.5'' CSG after drilling rig moved.
-Perforate Using CSG gun through 5.5'' CSG.
-Collect fresh water, KCL and tanks for frac.job.
-Conduct frac.job (mini and main) through 5.5'' CSG using isolation tool
Which fixed on 7 1/16'' Big Bore Valve.
-Lift and test the well using C.T, N2 and testing unit to
Evaluate the well performance after frac.job.
