Over the past 11 years I have had extensive exposure working closely with consultants and inspectors in the petroleum industry on both large and small projects in the field. Through this interaction and my personal experience in the field I am confident in my abilities to apply my skills in this manner.

Since starting my apprenticeship in 1988, I have gained experience in many aspects of the mechanical trade, such as construction, shut-downs, and maintenance. I have worked on a variety of projects both in industrial, commercial, and oilfield settings so my skill base is quite broad. My assets also include strong communication skills including verbal, listening and computer literacy, the ability to work well with others and well developed organizational abilities.

My supervisory experience includes organizing tradesmen, delegating work, and working closely with the project management. I have proficient skills using all the tools and equipment required by the various disciplines noted.

I hold a valid Inter-provincial Plumbing Certificate and B.C. Gasfitting Certificate. Additionally I am currently enrolled in the 4th Class Power Engineering course through correspondence from the school, B.C.I.T.
