Over the years, I have developed and served in various key projects in inspection and reliability testing in many local and overseas corporate clients. I have organized many coordination plans and helped my previous organisation develop key overseas markets. I have also specialized knowledge in coating, corrosion, inspection, certification, safety and reliability (RBI) programmes.

API 653 Specialist/Corrosion Technical Advisor (Aboveground Storage Tank Certification Programme)
* As a Senior Specialist in the company, I have attained international working experience, in many countries, expanding from Australia, South East Asia and Middle East. The valuable experience that I have attained has allowed me to interact with different international/organisation (specific) standards and industry recommended practices. Having established a good network of international contacts, I am able to communicate with many different cultures and community during the tenure of my work.
* API 653 Above Ground Storage Tank Inspector, a Specialist qualification that allows me to inspect, assess, identify, recommend and certify any repair and design flaws to Above Ground Storage Tank facilities. Ensuring that these assets are designed and functioning safely. Necessary recommendation for further course of action in inspection, certification and re-commissioning of Storage Assets. Provide and recommend Risk Based Inspection (RBI) assessments for storage facilities. My abilities include cross-referencing different standards that are used within the industry like API 575, API 620, API 650, EEMUA 159,BS 2654 and more. I've acquired knowledge of protective systems (API 652, API 651 and industry recommended practices) for assets and safe working procedures (API 2504, Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) induction and recommended practices). Storage Tanks
* Performed Above Ground Storage Tank inspection on over 350 tanks in my capacity as an API 653 certified inspector. During the course of work I have acquired specialized skills using Magnetic Flux Leakage technology as well as Ultrasonic, A –Scan, B-Scan, C-scan, as initially a Level I technician and subsequently a Level II interpreter. These same techniques are also used to inspect numerous pipelines and pressure. Clients include Shell, Petronas, Allied Refinery Company, etc.
* Performed Above Ground Storage Tank inspection with Acoustic Emission (TankPac specific) on over 50 tanks as a Acoustic Emission (AE) field Specialist testing on-stream storage tanks, initially a Level I technician and subsequently a Level II specialist/interpreter. Clients include Shell, Caltex, Tankstore, ExxonMobil, Royal Vopak, Qatar Petroleum, Petronas, etc.
* Conducted inspections, re-assessment and preparation of specific, technical reports and manuals of Above Ground Storage Tanks, to ensure tanks are inspected, constructed and repaired within API 650 and API 653 guidelines or other pertaining standards (EEMUA or British Standards (BS)). Performed QA/QC inspection and assessing repair procedures/recommendations for tank repairs and design alterations. Coordinating activities and assessment for certification and re-certification of tanks constructed and re-constructed.
* Coordinating various inspection, re-certification and technical queries, activities between local and international Clients.
Pipelines
* Performed pipelines inspection on over 200km of pipeline lengths as a LRUT field specialist/interpreter, this included Magnetic Flux Leakage technology and specific techniques in ultrasonic and long range ultrasonic (Teletest specific). Clients include Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC), ExxonMobil, Singapore Refining Company (SRC), Kuwait Oil Company, Shell Australia, etc.
* Conducted inspections, re-assessment and preparation of specific, technical reports to ensure pipes are inspected, and repaired within specified standards. Performed QA/QC inspection and subsequent recommendations for pipe repairs.
