Supply/
Warehousing: Implementing effective control and accounting procedures for the storage and distribution of a wide range of civilian and military hardware. Including high value, sensitive, and hazardous equipment, fuels (ground and air), oils, lubricants, cryogenic fluids and compressed gases, also fresh, frozen, and ambient foodstuffs.
Operating computer terminals linked to national and worldwide logistics networks. Interpreting and actioning complex computer inputs / outputs for the receipt, issue, return, transfer, loan, exchange and disposal of spares, stores, equipment, and classified items.
Validating, progressing and hastening priority and routine orders. Updating computer records and delivery forecasts. Maintaining manual and computer stock location systems, taking pre-emptive action to maintain stock levels.
Distribution: Controlling the movement of a fleet of vehicles over a 1,600km operating area. Responsible for the time measured movement of government cargo and freight by road, sea, and air in accordance with ICAO, IMDG, ADR and CDG/CPL regulations.
