Fifteen+ years of Materials and Warehousing Management experience including material take-off from isometrics, plan drawings (above and underground), and flow sheets; determining quantities for procurement; procurement activities including vendor sourcing, requisitioning, procurement and expediting; warehousing including receiving and issuing. SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE:

Material and Warehousing Manager responsible for material take-off, procurement, expediting and warehousing. Exposed to numerous different projects that include the following: compressor stations, oil refineries, chemicals, plastics and fibers, petrochemical, hazardous waste disposal, power generation, pulp and paper and pharmaceutical plants. Knowledgeable with Materials Planning and Control System (MARIAN), Materials Management Tools (MMT), PacTrack, Docurite, Personal Computer Material Data System (PCMDS), SPECWRITER, Global Material System (GMS) and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) computer programs in addition to MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access, etc.

Project Lead Piping Material Engineer responsible for Design Criteria Review which specifies material of construction, all piping material specifications, man-hour and material estimates, and reporting project material engineering status.

Quality auditor of piping specifications to guarantee that the specifications meet the client's requirements.

Responsible for initiating piping specifications and supervising less experienced Piping Material Engineers who are assigned to lead specific projects.

Material Engineer responsible for interpreting applicable codes and standards for a project, establishing metallurgical requirements for process conditions given, verifying line class conditions from process data, developing purchase descriptions for piping and engineered specialty items, technically evaluating competitive materials bids, visiting and evaluating piping component manufacturer and shop fabrication facilities, and developing pressure test systems.
