OBJECTIVE: Lead / Senior document controller position

QUALIFICATION HIGHLIGHTS:
* 5 years of document control experience in a variety of industry (oil and gas, research, telecommunications…)
* A problem-solver who rapidly adapts, work well independently or on a team, well organised.
* Proven experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, Powerpoint, Works, Frontpage, Outlook…), Documentum and hardware such as scanners, plotters and cd-burners. Also creation of an intranet website.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

Document controller on ERHA Project:

* Engineering documentation (internal process): receive, register, transmit, archive.
* Hyundai documentation: Responsible for developing and implementing a document control process suitable for the specific needs of project compliance with client procedures. Put into place numbering, classification, management of comments to and from Korea, archiving, Documentum integration of all Hyundai documentation, delivery of "As-built" documentation to client (paper and electronic version).
* Vendor documentation: around 150 vendors for the all project; in charge of some specific vendors like Foxboro, Alstom(Areva), Timberland, Wormald...
Verify and correct forms and revision of document when needed before transmission of documents to lead engineer.
Check documents commented before transmission to vendor for revision.
Follow up on internal overdue of vendors documents on a weekly basis.
Learn to recognise and report process improvements opportunities.
Providing feedback to supervisor on best practices and lessons learned.
Responsible for interface with client (EXXON) and quality department to put into place action to improve and speed up progress of final documentation and to keep client informed.

Document controller in other industries:

* Marketing documentation, database and index updating.
* Customer documentation (Full Telecommunications commutator user manual) delivery and updating on 50 sites in France on a monthly basis.
* Creation and implementation of Intranet and Extranet website.
* Search and retrieval on sources of quality and providing standards information to create a guide on the Quality Certification Institutes in France. But also search and retrieval for research purposes on Internet, databases and CD-ROMs. (Petroleum Abstracts, Proceedings).
* Valuing the information unit stock across the company.
