SUMMARY OF SKILLS:
- Preparation of Purchasing Status / Strategy in coordination with the Projects / Planning and getting approved by Management.
- Preparation of Project Procurement Procedures & Co-ordination of Procurement Staff assigned to the Project as well as Co-ordination with Engineering Department etc.
- Preparation & Compilation of Bill of Materials, Enquiry Requisition, Material Intends and Pre-qualification of Vendors and Sub-contractors
- Preparation and development of Potential Bidders list and Issue them the Invitation to bid letter issuance (ITB) and obtain their acknowledgment & Expediting their Bids within the Due Date.
- Conduct & Participate in a Bid Opening Meeting, Short listing the Bidders / Contractors, Transmitting of Technical proposal for Technical Evaluation.
- Follow-up, Expedite & Manage the Technical & Commercial evaluations / clarifications required for the Packages / Contracts.
- Issuance of Complete negotiation reports on Commercial aspects.
- Preparation of commercial bid tabulation (CBT) before and after negotiations and obtain necessary approvals from the Management.
- Preparation of Fax of Intent, Official of Purchase orders / Service Orders and Order Amendments on Technically acceptable and Competitive Vendors including Sub-contractors (Temporary Camp Facilities, NDT Services, Civil & Structural, Mechanical, Electrical & Instrumentation, Telecommunication and in Site Services Works) and obtain their acknowledgement.
- Obtaining manufacturing schedules / Engineering & Quality documents, Schedules from Vendors & Sub-contractors and confirms the same after verification with Project / Contract requirements.
- Organizing a kick-off-meeting (KOM) with the Vendors / Sub-contractors, along with Project Team / Engineering team and Quality team & confirming that their understanding of the Technical and Commercial requirements.
- Obtain vendor sub vendors list and confirm the same after checking with contractual bidder list.
- Obtain vendors production program and close monitoring with vendor for their engineering / Procurement / Manufacturing activities
- Expediting with Sub vendors with Suppliers Expeditors.
- Receiving Monthly / weekly progress status from suppliers and updating in project schedule.
- Obtain inspection Schedule and notification in advance and arranging Contractor / Client inspection in time including experience in Inspecting the Piping components.
- Preparation of Requisition & Finalization of Transport Service Orders, list of Equipments to be forwarded, finalization of Transport Orders, checking Shipping Documents like Packing List, Bill of Lading or Air Way Bill, Proforma Invoice, Certificate of Origin.
- Coordinating with Supplier / Accounts for Mile stone payment and performance guarantee.
- Coordinating with Client / project / engineering / Inspection / Shipping / Construction for related activities.
- Chasing up with Materials receiving department for Acceptance note for receiving Packages / materials.
- Obtain OSD (Over, Shortage & Damage) report for the received goods and follow-up with Vendors for corrective action.
- Order / Contract administration from award stage till close out, including Study and evaluate Claims and Variation Order requests advise on appropriate measures, Contract termination, Insurances, Liabilities, Guarantees.
- Contracts & Materials Management functions for the Products Pipelines, Piping components (Pipes, Valves, Flanges & Forgings, Fittings, Gaskets, Fasteners) Static (Pressure Vessels, Columns & Condensers, Heat Exchangers, Filters etc.), Rotating (Pumps, Agitators, Chemical Dosing Packages, Compressors, Refrigeration Unit, Crane & Hoists, Loading Arms etc.), Electrical & Instrumentation (Cables & accessories, Distribution Panels, Switchgears, Transformers, Generators, Hoists & Cranes, AC& DC UPS, Electrical Bulks, Cable Trays, Cathodic Protection, DCS SCADA System etc etc.), Chemicals etc.
- Experience in Reconsillation of free issue materials and in Inventory Control by stock verification and Economic Ordering Quantity (EOQ).
- Experience in preparation and Issue of Weekly / Monthly Progress report and Purchasing Status Register including the Vendor / Sub-contractor Feed-back Report for the Contract / Procurement activities to the Management.
