I am interested in working as a Barge Engineer, Barge Superintendent or Offshore Installation Manager for your organisation on an international basis. For the last 6 years I have been working as a Barge Engineer on the Noble Ronald Hoope, one of the installations which is operating in the Dutch Sector of the North Sea, and Nabors 657 operating in the Atlantic Ocean off Trinidad.
I would bring to your organisation some 22 years experience working in the Oil and Gas Industry, 14 years as a Crane Operator / Deck Pusher, 1 year as an assistant Barge Engineer and as stated above the last 6 years as a Senior Barge Engineer.
My most recent experience was designing an OBM system for safe handling and storage, rig move to the harbour and installing a fourth level accommodation, refurbishment of the 657 in Sharjah.transporting the Nabors 657 from Sharjah to Trinidad and several rig moves in the Trinidadian waters.
I am responsible for the overall design of the Rig, including Maintenance crews, deck crews and boat handling and material storage, mechanical department, electrical department, welding department, accommodation and lifting material. In addition, I am responsible for safety, laws regulations and classifications of rules.
The Noble Ronald Hoope, has been my base for 15 years. The Rig is ISO 14001 certified and also has worked for 6 years without a lost time accident. We also have an IADC notification for Safety in this part of Europe. The rig drilled the largest horizontal well in the North Sea within the set time frame. The Nabors 657, operating in Trinidad from a new start after the refurbishment and new rig crews, one year without a lost time accident and shows continued improvement.
