Russian Volunteer Project 1994 - 1996
Active member of the "Oasis Project," a volunteer organization of engineers and scientists providing international environmental consulting services. Our inaugural project, the "Serpukhov Environmental Improvement Project," provided expert consultation support for clean up of a large hazardous waste site located in Serpukhov, Russian Federation. In 1996, solely traveled to Moscow and Serpukhov to meet with our Russian counterparts and City officials, and the Director of the responsible factory. Project was subsequently disbanded due to a lack of funding.
