Job Description

Assist in multi-discipline activities and inputs throughout the full Procurement cycle from the development of enquiry documents, through bid evaluation, pre-award, preparation of contracts for execution, their subsequent implementation and amendments from all Operations Department in Dukhan Fields. Sending documents to Legal and Finance departments for their review and comments. Administers daily correspondence with respect to contract work to ensure strict compliance to the laid down tendering and contracting procedures. Assists Lead Contracts Engineer and Sr. Contract Engineers on all types of Contracts (Unit rate/Lumpsum/ Remeasurable) and ensures confidentiality and that scopes submitted are complete. Assist in Technical and Commercial evaluation of tenders, Contracts Work Change requests. Tender Bonds, Performance Bond and Insurance Policies checks of Tenderers/Contractors. Independent handling of Minor Work, Service Orders and Contract Work Requests (CWR). Manage the Invoice database and checks the invoices against Bill of Quantities. Working knowledge of Contracts Information System (CIS) and Access database for Contracts Management. Coach/ trains Qatari summer trainees (CPP/TMP trainees - work term students) who come to our Division.

a) Diploma in FoxPro programming, MSOffice, Windows and LAN from St. Francis Industrial Training Institute Borivli (W), (Bombay, India).
b) Completed Basic MS Access Course held in-house by Qatar Petroleum.
c) Managing the Pre-Award Phase – (Contracts Administration Course) in Oct 2002 and an Advanced Course in Contracts Administration -Post Tender Award in Oct 2001. Both the courses were conducted by PROMIS Group, Dubai, U.A.E. in Qatar Petroleum.
d) Completed a Course in Primavera - ver 3.0 held by Primavera at the Qatar Petroleum Training Centre.
e) Attended TDMS (Technical Data Management System) course held in-house by Qatar Petroleum.
