WORK EXPERIENCE
Oct 07– current date – Sakhalin Energy Investment Company (Sakhalin II Project Operator)
Position: Senior Cost Engineer, Wells group, EPCM project
Responsibilities:
* Participation in update of the drilling estimate, Work Program & Budget.
* Routine cost data analysis (actual costs close out in SAP; estimate VS actual costs variance analysis, etc.).
* Interface with general EPC contractors on the matter of costs treatment.
* Cost management data model development using MS Access.
* Acting as Risk Management Coordinator for the whole directorate (developed Risk management procedure, maintained risk register (EasyRisk software), periodically updated risk matrix).
* Acting as Engineering Data Module (EDM) software package holder, designed for Wells engineering and construction purposes.
Scope of work:
* Three arctic sea platform drilling rigs.
* 7+ years comprehensive drilling program (Wells engineering and construction).
July 05–Sep 2007 – Sakhalin Energy Investment Company (Sakhalin II Project Operator)
Position: Cost and Schedule Engineer, EPCM oil & gas field development project
Responsibilities:
* Participation in budget development and approval by Project stakeholders (major Shareholders sessions, Russian Party interface)
* Managing external financial consultants
* Tracking Project cost and schedule data (developing new formats of cost reports, internal working schedules, process diagrams and charts, etc.)
* Preparing presentation slides for the Company's top management and external use (Shareholders sessions, Russian Party meetings, etc.)
* Preparing answers for interested parties on cost related questions (budget, contracts, procedures), construction schedule related questions, economic efficiency of the Project. This work was connected with close interface with miscellaneous project groups – engineering, approvals team, finance department, etc.
* Developing and maintaining structured data systems (knowledge bases) for cost, schedule, and economic efficiency matters
Scope of work:
* Onshore Processing Facility (Class IV estimate development)
* Two off-shore platforms (Class IV estimate development)
* LNG plant (Class IV estimate development)
* Oil & gas pipelines (Class IV estimate development)

Aug 04-Jul 2005 – General Dynamics Sakhalin (daughter company of General Dynamics; telecommunication contractor for Sakhalin I Project)
Position: Project Controls Lead, EPCM telecommunication project
Responsibilities:
* Cost estimating and control (developed an integrated system of expenditures control, crossed with accounting, contracting & procurement, and logistics systems)
* Scheduling (developed and maintained construction schedule; developed WBS coding system, which was integrated with Cost control module)
* Additionally: set up and commenced materials control system; conducted negotiations for some of the contracts; managed two junior control specialists
Scope of work:
* Telecomm towers (full cost and schedule support)
* Transmitting devices: satellite / MW / INMARSAT antennas (full cost and schedule support)
* Telephone stations (PABX's) (full cost and schedule support)

* Cost engineering (tracking company expenditures VS budget, forecasting future expenses, creating and tracking of WIP profile, etc.)
* Analytical reporting (Cost / Schedule / Progress/ Performance / Man-hours reports)
* Additionally: Work was connected with constant manipulating of big volumes of data using MS Office tools – Access, Excel, Word, etc.

* Onshore Processing Facility (overall clients cost and schedule control)
* Infrastructure facilities:
- Exxon Neftegaz Ltd Office building on Sakhalin (comprehensive contractor's schedule analysis)
- Site camps (two camps: for 840 people and for 320 people) (overall clients cost and schedule control)

- Programming languages – PERL, C++. Use this knowledge in everyday work to manipulate big volumes of data and extend standard programs capabilities.

- Blueprints reading and understanding.
