Duties:

Drilling activities
- Planning of the drilling program - selecting priority anomaly targets for core drilling
(based on airborne magnetic study and complementary ground magnetometer measurements)
- Assuring that access roads to anomalies are cleared, comply with the alluvial earthmoving equipment schedule and that drilling operations are not affected by delays.
- Reports: activities and cost expenditures.

GIS & Mapping
- Responsible for the mines overall's mapping database system (ArcView):
- Georeferencing / Merging / Layering: airborne maps, aerial photos, BH coordinates, ground mag and loaming countours, etc.
- Processing / representing data from alluvial pitting and bulk samples DGPS measurements.
- Alluvial, resource block areas & volumes calculations / Grade distribution / Resource estimations.

Core shead and laboratory
- Logging core, selecting core samples for export – (microprobe mineral chemistry analyses)
- Quality Control on: Magnetic susceptibility measurements of core, loaming sample separation of heavy minerals and microscopic picking (identif/quantif) of indicator minerals.

Geophysical
- Planning ground magnetometer grids / processing raw data / maintaining equipment.

Stratigraphy
- Customizing and updating the drill hole database "DHlogger" – (Datamine).
- Representing logs, tables and drilling reports – "Down Hole Explorer" – (Datamine).
- Representing correlations, sections and subsurface modeling (Datamine Studio).

Reports and training
- Reporting to head office / Angolan representative to the foreign investor's company project.
