1) Start-Up I/C Instrument Technician / Forney Power Project / Forney, TX
Commissioning technician responsible for setting up, calibrating, and loop checking all water chemistry analyzers in and out of the Delphi Bldgs., which consisted of Rosemount, Scientific Instruments, and Martek instruments. Performed checkout, calibration, and commissioned all Forney Burner Management Systems. Also supported gas and steam turbine start-up. Project consisted of six GE 7FA gas turbines, two Toshiba steam turbines, and Ovation DCS.
2) Start-Up I/C Lead Technician / OXYCHEM Taft Co-generation Project / Taft, LA
Attended F.A.T. to check out and verify all loops from I/O cabinets to the Honeywell TPS GUS DCS, performed minor graphics and logic changes. On-site duties included directing I/C activities, maintained database and loop folders, functional testing and start-up, and continued configuration and graphic changes. Project consisted of three GE 7FA gas turbines and one GE D11 steam turbine.
3) Start-Up I/C Lead Technician / EASTEX Co-generation Project / Longview, TX
Directed I/C activities while also performing functional testing and start-up of a new GE Combined Cycle Co-generation power plant using Bailey Symphony DCS and GE Mark V HMI turbine controls. Supported gas and steam turbine checkout and start-up.
4) Start-Up I/C Lead Technician / Odessa-Ector Power Project / Odessa, TX
Supervisor responsible for bench and field calibrations, loop checks, and start-up support for GE instruments. Project consisted of four GE 7FA gas turbines and two A10 steam turbines.
5) Start-Up Instrument Technician / Guadalupe Power Project / Marion, TX
Instrument technician responsible for loop checks and start-up support with the Ovation DCS and management of the database to track total loops functionally tested. Project consisted of four GE 7FA gas turbines and two A10 steam turbines.
6) Start-Up Instrument Technician / Lamar Power Project / Paris, TX
Performed instrumentation installation, functional testing and start-up of a new GE Combined Cycle power plant using Westinghouse Ovation DCS with Allen-Bradley PLC 5 interfaces. Supported HRSG (Aalborg) and steam turbine (GE) checkout and start-up to commercial operation. Project consisted of four GE 7FA gas turbines and two A10 steam turbines.
