- Manage E&P sub-surface data (2D/3D seismic data, well data, simulations, logs and reports) including data loading, quality control and data transfer.
- Provide end-user support for E&P applications from Landmark (OpenWorks, SeisWorks), Schlumberger (GeoFrame, Eclipse, Petrel, Merak), Paradigm (SeisEarth).
- Work closely with end-users to identify workflow bottlenecks and proactively recommend solutions.
- Manage E&P IT system environment including Microsoft Windows, Sun Microsystem, Red Hat/SUSE Linux, NetApp Storage, Veritas NetBackup and VMware Virtualization.
- Develop and maintain standards, policies and procedures required for effective business continuation, including data backup/recovery.

- Setup an IT infrastructure for Schlumberger Data Consulting group, which integrated Windows, UNIX, Linux, VMware, NetApps Storage and Veritas Backup Exec. Installed and configured GeoFrame running on both UNIX and Linux environment.
- Setup 16 nodes Linux cluster for Total Brunei. Cluster running on HP DL360 and DL140 with 32bit Intel Xeon processors and Gigabit interconnect. Installed and configured Platform LSF and Eclipse.
- Setup 8 nodes Linux cluster for GigaViz demo. Cluster running on IBM xSeries with 32bit Intel Xeon processors and Gigabit interconnect. Installed and configured GigaViz.
- Performed Eclipse benchmarking for Talisman. Setup and benchmark Eclipse performance on 8 nodes Linux cluster running on HP rx2620 with 64bit Intel Itanium 2 processors and Gigabit interconnect, 8 nodes Linux cluster running on HP rx2620 with 64bit Intel Itanium processors and Myrinet interconnect, 8 nodes Linux cluster running on HP rx2620 with 64bit Intel Itanium processors and Infiniband interconnect, 8 nodes Linux cluster running on SGI Altix 350 with 64bit Intel Itanium processors and Numalink.
- Setup an IT infrastructure for Carigali Hess Operating Company (CHOC). High-end workstations which are running on HP xw9300 with 64bit AMD Opteron processors, were integrated with Windows and Linux using VMware, dedicated for Petrel.
- Performed benchmarking on NetApps and HP Clustered Gateway storage solutions.
- Focal point for Talisman for petrol technical computing infrastructure, covering Eclipse cluster, GeoFrame system support, and others SIS services.
- GeoFrame upgrade for Gaffney, Cline & Associates (GCA) Singapore.
- Setup 8 nodes Linux cluster for CS Mutiara and Talisman. Cluster running on SGI Altix 64bit Intel Itanium processors and Gigabit interconnect. Installed and configured Eclipse and Platform LSF.
- Setup 32 nodes Linux cluster for running GigaViz demo.
