Present Responsibilities

Responsible for DCS application Engineering for Centum CS3000/1000, Centum CS, systems at the System Integration Centre. Responsibilities include:

* Prepare & finalize the Detail software functional specifications for the Human Machine interface (HMI), Control implementations strategies, Subsystem (Third Party systems) communications, and Report functions.
* Set up the DCS software implementation techniques as per the project requirement to ensure the quality at different phases of the projects (i.e. From Design till completion of Site acceptance stages)
* Develop control drawings and control strategies from Process flow diagrams and P&ID's.
* Develop logic diagrams for complex interlock functions.
* Lead & manage a team of various DCS system engineers during the project execution.
* Co-ordination with the end-users / EPC's during project execution to finalize the DCS software implementation methodology.
* Supervise the Software Generation & Debugging activities to ensure the quality of the software implementation
* Co-ordinate & Conduct the Factory acceptance test, Site acceptance test.
* Co-ordinate with the Subsystem equipment suppliers
* Involvement at site during major / critical phases of Plant Start-up & Commissioning activities.
