Objective

Looking for a new career in mining exploration, willing to relocate and learn. I will defer my plans for helicopter school if suitable work is available.

Work as a general labourer at whatever capacity I am capable of and needed on a crew. I would like to work through the summer and then am intending to take a Helicopter flying course for a commercial Pilot's License. My course would start around Sept.,15-20th 2008. There appears to be a lot of Helicopter use in this industry and it would seem to be a good place to gain experience working around and eventually, maybe even a job, flying Helicopters.

Qualifications

I have had some experience drilling core samples of jade for a small mining company. I have also worked at Equity Silver Mines in Houston B.C.
I worked in the Leach plant there. I have done plenty of outdoor work and camping.

Education

Grade 12 General
Grade 11&12 accounting
Grade 11&12 business computers
Once held an Industrial F/A ticket. Had that for 10yrs.
Current Class 1 driver's license with air brakes
Basic Accounting course.

Relevant Experience

I worked at Equity for approximately 2yrs. (1981-83)
I took a 3 month course on Geology and staking claims
I ran a drill for 6 weeks at ogden Mountain approx. 150 miles North of Smithers B.C. (1976)
I have run water pumps fighting forest fires, power-saws bucking on a landing, and other small engine machines.

Other Experience

Currently, I am working at a central BC Sawmill. I have been employed there since September 10, 1991.
I work mainly as a Lumber Grader. I am dependable, honest and strong. I have a good work ethic, I am safety oriented and a strong team member.
