Brief Job Responsibilities:

Assist Lead QC Engineers in reviewing/approval process of contractor's quality management system documentation. Assist other PMT construction personnel in resolving quality related issues. Surveillance / Witness of Contractor's site inspection and test per approved ITP. Participate in Construction meetings and report on quality issues.
Lead a team of QC inspectors for Scheduled Inspections, coordination with Client.
Assist in the development of method statements and testing procedures. Prepare, monitor and implement approved projects quality plans
Participate as a team member on Project Quality Audits. Manage quality surveillance of Contractor's project execution during construction.
Participate during inspection and testing at Vendor's shop. Surveillance / Spot Witness of site receiving inspection activities.
Co-Ordinate, with the Client for the scheduled inspection, followed by, Quality Control Reports Documentation.
Liaison with the Customer Representative for the conduct of day-to-day Quality related Activities of the Project.

AREAS OF EXPERTISE:

The basic job responsibilities include implementing the strict Quality Control Procedure for the Instrument Calibration & Installations, JB Installations, Cable Terminations, Air headers, Cable Trays, Cable Trench (Instrument and LV cables) and associated supports installations. Instrument & LV Electrical Cable checks before and after installations AG/UG as per Gen. Specifications / QCP, keep check on drawings for as Built and mark-ups.
Specialized in Calibrations, Field Inst., Fire& Gas and HVAC Installations and Mechanical Completion Inspections.
Perform Routine Surveillance Inspections at site to keep-up the Quality work and preparing Inspection Punch Lists and forwarding / raising memo at any construction discrepancy to the concerned Engineer with Suggestions within Framework of General / Project Specs.
Initiate ideas or activities to improve the Quality of the Construction Works.
Co-ordinate with the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) Tasks, Preparation of Project Specific Procedures, Work Instructions & Quality Plans as required, and Issue as per Sub-Contractor Quality System Procedures.
Maintain all relevant Updated Codes & Standard Specifications & Quality System Documents. Monitor the Sub-Contractor Performance for Compliance with Quality requirements.
Analyze Corrective & Preventive action taken on DRs & NCRs in Co-ordination with the Project Manager / Project Engineer and close out DRs / NCRs if the actions taken are found satisfactory.
Well accustomed with Instrument Quality Control Codes and Standards like API, ANSI, BS, IEC, NORSOK, CENELEC and ISA Calibration Techniques.
Excellent Understanding and interpretation of the all E&I Schematics, P&IDs, Piping Plans, Layouts and Isometrics.
Ensure contractor's adherence to its approved QC procedures, QCPs and that all the required documentation is presented as required and signed off throughout the course of the project
At all times remain independent and protect the Company interests and fulfill work in full compliance with the Company requirements. Ensure that the works are performed in conformity with all contract requirements
Knowledge of Computer Software applications, MS Windows 2000, XP including MS Word, Excel, and Designer.
