Our inaugural project, the "Serpukhov Environmental Improvement Project," provided expert technical and project management consultation support for clean up of a large hazardous waste (PCB) site affecting numerous small-scale, resident farmers located in the city of Serpukhov, Russian Federation.
- In 1996, solely traveled to Moscow and Serpukhov to meet with our Russian scientific counterparts, City officials, the Director of the responsible factory, and US Embassy (Moscow) officials to discuss project approach, progress, and fund raising.
- The founder subsequently disbanded the Oasis Project in late 1996 due to difficulty in obtaining additional funding to continue the project.
