Objective:
- To obtain a new career in the Oil and Gas Industry as a Professional Landman, and gain the experience and knowledge to become a valuable asset to your company. I possess the drive and motivation to learn every possible aspect of the Oil and Gas Industry, and plan on doing whatever it takes to succeed and eventually move up within the company.

Work Experience:
2007-current
Abstractor and Land Agent (Part-time)
- I have worked with my son and his good friend on everything from running full titles, comprised of surface, mineral, and leasehold chains all the way up to the acquisition part of the business, where I helped create leads by checking the assessors reports and finding mineral owners, contacting them and attending lease negotiation meetings. I completely understand how a project is ran from the bottom to the top, and I would be a valuable asset to any company who wants a competitive and hard working individual.
- I have about nine years total experience in the oil and gas industry and wish to spend the next twenty years in it.

2005 to current
Ironworkers Local 787
-Started ground up in structural steel and erection with powerhouses in WV and Ohio. Member Parkersburg-Marietta Trades.
I am currently moving towards supervision in the construction industry, however being exposed to the Oil and Gas Industry has changed my thoughts on what I want as my career.
2000 to 2005

-Licensed in Life and Health with series 6 & 63 brokers' license.
Set up retirement plans for individuals and small business.
Million Dollar Roundtable member in 2004.

1990 to 2005
Owner- Walters Pools
-Renovation of swimming pools that were built in past generations.
Licensed contractor in residential swimming pool construction In WV.

1979 to 1981

-Worked as Lead Roustabout in setting up tank batteries and gas sales lines. This was my first real exposure to the production side of the industry, and I learned valuable information that I will apply in my new career as a Professional Landman.

1978 to 2000
Johns Manville Corporation
-Started in labor Department and worked up to Chief Operator of production in a major manufacturer of fiberglass insulation employing 600 people. Major Workgroup and facilitation experience. Retired in 2000.

Personal Information:
-Married thirty years to my wife Michelle and have four children Richard, Rachel, Anna and Emily.
-Coached youth athletics for over twenty years in football, wrestling and baseball in the Parkersburg area.
-Family and close friends in the Oil and Gas Industry has helped influence my decision to make this my career and I believe has given me a jump start as opposed to other people just starting out.
