Job Description

* Capability of conducting safety induction training/safety training for reducing hazards & risks/safe work procedure training for engineers, supervisor and foremen.
* Conducting site safety committee meetings and to prepare dedicated plan of action to enforce the matters that discussed & decided.
* Prepare the method statement and risk assessment for all man job profiles.
* Assist for implementing good planning to reduce the risk behavior of hazardous jobs and to avoid incidents & accidents.
* Implementation of visible felt leadership to improve the culture of safe behavior and work practice.
* Capability of making prompt decisions, plan of action and delivering instructions at right time in the interest of safe work practice and to avoid hazards.
* Inspections conducted regularly according to the safe written procedures to avoid hazards and to maintain safe working environment.
* Investigate the root cause for accident and the methods implement to avoid reoccurrence.
* Conduct daily, weekly or monthly inspection in the matters like:

1) Jobs and risk works are conducting according to the method statement and risk assessments.
2) The workers are following the safe work practice of wearing personal protective equipments especially in hazardous jobs to avoid injuries.
3) Hot works and confined space works are regulated by permits and safe work procedures.
4) Ensuring that the prohibited acts are not practiced any were on the site.
5) Properly maintained safety equipment registers like heavy lifting gear, mobile & tower cranes, excavations & floor openings, safety harness, scaffoldings & ladders, electrical equipments power tools hand tools, explosive power tool, fire extinguishers, lifting man cages & buckets, gas cutting and welding, respirator systems after the checking's done by competent persons.
6) Fire protection and prevention methods are regularly followed on site.
7) Sort by sort stacking of materials, clear walkways, good house keeping and edge protection is provided for safe guarding trip and fall hazards.
8) Clear exit ways and safe emergency assembly points are marked in the case of any emergency arises.
9) Signages are placed in correct places for reducing risk work and to inform evacuation procedures.
10) Ensuring uncertified, damaged and oil spillage machineries and equipments are not in operational.

12) Good hygienic procedures are followed to avoid environmental risks.

* Reports to be made according to the audits and inspections conducted and to report to the project leaders and to assist them for solving the problems if anything wrong that deviate the standards.
* Filing and updating all those documents relating equipment and machinery, inspection, investigation, risk assessment and training.
* Collecting the data's of regulations and new inventions about safety related matters (including hazards, accidents and incidents) and to distribute and conduct training to overcome crises.
* Conducting meetings for sharing and proceeding safety issues and ensuring it is enforcing on site.
