-Detailed seismic mapping of different reservoirs at the loop level for the purpose of static reservoir modeling in Petrel.
-Propose, initiate & follow up all of geophysical study works needed to support the detailed reservoir modeling. That includes well to seismic tie, Avo,, wedge modeling, seismic inversion & net sand prediction.
-Managing the integrated work plans of the reservoir modeling with different disciplines (RE, Drilling, flow assurance, development planners & surface engineering) to reach the FDP.
-Preparing & presenting work progress to partners & stack holders during the TCM & technical workshops.
-Coaching & supervising the young subsurface staff for geological & geophysical work targets & knowledge.
-Key member of Bonga North development team who prepared & execute a successful VAR3 on December 2008.

-Fully responsible about the 2D/3D seismic interpretation & prospect generation in NW Demiatta concession
-Project Planning & executing the work programs of the subsurface evaluation of this exploration acreage.
-Coordinate the work program through multi-disciplines team members (including Petrophysics, QI, well engineering, Economics….etc) to deliver the proposed work program on time.
-Single point accountability member of Global Shell Big Cats team since I am responsible for two big cats in the concession which are registered in Shell global list of Big Cats to be drilled during the following 3 years.

-Fully responsible for Rosetta Exploration block evaluation, including prospect generation and maturation, recommending and align work programs with the operator, attending TCMs with the partners and operation follow up when needed.
-Generate two exploration prospects, both are communicated with operator. Both wells drilled and came as successful Gas discoveries (100% success rate)
-Focal point of business opportunity evaluation team, responsible for evaluating opportunities offered through Bid rounds and farm in offers, attending data rooms and propose further action plans to opportunity committee.
-Full responsibilities of Business development aspects & requests related to portfolio management.
-Focal Point for the exploration Peer Reviews & Capital allocation preparation.
-Fully responsible about monitoring the competitor activities & Egypt reserve update through out the year.
-A member of SENV volumetrics Panel, responsible for risks and volumetric assessment consistency for all prospects generated and evaluated by different concession teams in SENV and Bapetco (Shell joint venture in Egypt).

-Geological and seismic interpretation at basin and prospect scale to support new business opportunity evaluations. Technical area champion of the Gulf of Suez with responsibilities to develop hydrocarbon playmaps, maintains geological database, and monitor competitor activities.
-2D/3D seismic interpretation and integration of geology through evaluation Bid round blocks. Fast track opportunity assessment through opportunity evaluation & Data rooms.
-Technical support to the concession evaluation teams with the regional experience and sharing the evaluation process when needed.
-Space panel member, sharing the risk assessments and volumetric evaluation processes of different prospects and leads generated in SENV and Bapetco.

October 1993 to July 1997

Gulf of Suez Petroleum Co. (Gupco) the joint venture of Amoco in Egypt. B.o. Box 2400 New Maadi - Cairo - Egypt.
Working as Exploration Geologist/Seismic Interpreter in Nile Delta team, Gupco, with the following responsibilities as a team member:
-Geological evaluation of Amoco's new acreage in Nile Delta for gas exploration..
-Jointly responsible for exploratory well proposals, their post appraisal and prepare future development plan of the recent discoveries in Amoco Nile Delta concessions.
-Operational follow up of Amoco non-operated drilling activity in Nile Delta, control geological activity on rigs, interpreting logs and geologic results for further operation action plan.
- Jointly responsible for the seismic interpretation and evaluation of the regional structure and depositional environment of the Nile Delta open acreage. Creating and interpreting different types of regional Nile Delta subsurface maps and cross sections using different computer software (Landmark - Stratworks - Openworks -Seisworks - Zmap....etc).
-Responsible for technical risk assessment of all Amoco new prospects generated in Nile Delta and Sinai acreage.
-Jointly was responsible for building the Nile Delta data base, compiling and editing 174 wells from different sources petrophysically, and load them into OpenWorks data base.
-One of the team members who integrate and finalize the Amoco Regional Nile Delta evaluation project in 15 months which used as the basis for Amoco success in Nile Delta in 1995.
-A member of the Amoco Nile Delta exploration team, technically shared in all Amoco gas discoveries in Ras El Barr & North Sinai Concessions (6 discoveries) as Geologist / Seismic Interpreter.

From Sept. 1992 to Oct. 1993
I was working as Exploration Geologist in Onshore Central Sinai Concession-
Gupco, with the following responsibilities:
- Surface geologic mapping and subsurface evaluation of Amoco new acreage for hydrocarbon potential and well proposals.
-2D seismic interpretation and evaluation of northern portion of Amoco's Central Sinai concession, producing several integrated surface and subsurface maps at different levels resulting in two exploratory well proposals. Both wells were drilled as recommended.
-Responsible for post-appraisals of both wells and subsequent acreage relinquishment.

From Sept.1991 to Sept.1992
I was working as a Geoscientist on loan to Amoco Egypt Oil Co. as assistant to Amoco Exploration Manager with the following responsibilities:
- Dealing with external relations and communications with EGPC and other companies for data purchasing, exchange, reporting and scouting.
- Technical coordinator between Amoco Houston, Amoco Egypt, Gupco and other partner companies in Egypt.
- Technical follow up, interpreting and reporting of Amoco sharing drilling activity in
Egypt.

From May 1988 to Sept.,1991

I was working as Well Site Geologist - Gupco with the following responsibilities:
-Working as well site geologist in 15 exploratory wildcat wells and more than 35 development wells in both Gulf of Suez and Western Desert. For each well, I was responsible for pre-drill correlation panels and post drilling final well reports.
-Responsible for on site log witness, preliminary log interpretation and reporting results to the head office.

From March 1987 to May 1988
I was working as Trainee Geologist in General Petroleum Co. (GPC) - Nasr City- Cairo- Egypt with the following training experience:
