I am a geologist with a Ph.D. degree from Darmstadt University of Technology, Germany with knowledge in petrology, sedimentology, basin analysis, sequence stratigraphy and reservoir geology. During my previous work, especially during my Ph.D. studies but also during international courses, I could already gain experience in the following methods:
- geological mapping
- 2D-outcrop mapping
- facies analysis
- architectural element analysis
- petrophysical methods (measurement of porosity, permeability, gamma-ray, magnetic susceptibility, AMS and paleomagnetic analysis)
- petrographic analysis (thin section analysis and clay mineralogy (XRD and SEM))
- palynological studies ("Co-Existence-Approach" for environmental reconstruction)
- gasgeochemistry
- seismology
- use of GPS, tilt and geodetic instruments
- application of GIS
- MS Office
- various image editing and graphics softwares (CorelDraw, Photoshop, etc.)

In addition to my experience, I am hard working and can adapt to new challenges very quickly. I have excellent communication skills. I always maintain a gracious and professional manner when communicating with people and know how to build strong networks. My oral and writing skills could already be proved through the active attendance of various national and international conferences and through various publications.
I like working in a team. However, while teaching classes in university and successfully supervising several geological mapping projects in Central Mexico, I could already prove my ability as a team leader.
At present I am working on reservoir characteristics of Cenozoic volcaniclastics and Mesozoic carbonates, interpreting and correlating petrophysical parameters of well logs. The results of my studies are presented on international conferences and published in peer-reviewed journals.
