Duties Include:
Ensure that all works are carried out in accordance within the Company Management
System Documents and that these documents are reviewed and necessary changes to be made are brought to the attention of management.
Being fully conversant with existing and statutory legislation, regulations and codes of practice affecting company operations.
Investigating and reporting of all accidents / incidents in liaison with relevant personnel on the installation. Advise senior management of any deficiencies or recommend any remedial actions that may result from an investigation. Prepare and finalize reports.
Coordinate the safety program to prevent or correct unsafe working conditions or acts, utilizing knowledge of industrial processes and industrial health and safety regulations.
Auditing equipment and machinery to identify unsafe conditions or inadequate procedures.
Provide safety and statistical reports to customer project representatives and the companies safety department.
Coordinate industrial hygiene and environmental policies on the installation.
Ensure through the respective supervisors that employees and contractors are in compliance with safe work behaviours and are wearing the necessary protective equipment.
Support personnel on the installation by carrying out inspections, audits, assessments, safety meetings, risk identification, risk analysis, risk assessments, and manage the installations J.H.A program to establish a safe working environment.
Indoctrinate new personnel to the installation.
Responsible for organising safety drills, managing the installations hazard observation reporting program.
In charge of the installations permit to work system.
In charge of onboard training of personnel on the installation.
Supervise helideck and helicopter refuelling operations.

Responsible for the checks and administration of the following safety equipment.
Fire extinguishers.
Fire hose stations and test run of the installations fire pumps.
