Job profile:
Pre-commissioning & commissioning and normal operation (more than 5 years) of LAB plant. Following activity I have done during pre-commissioning & commissioning of LAB PLANT:

Detail PFD, P&ID checking.
Loops preparation and implementation
Performing pre-commissioning activity like equipment inspection, hydrotest, flushing, air blowing, leaktest, chemical cleaning, solorun of motors, mechanical run test of pumps, nitrogen blanketing etc.
Start up, emergency & normal operation of distillation columns, high pressure reactor, furnaces, reciprocating compressors, various types of pumps.

OPERATING EXPERIENCE of following process
UOP-PACOL UNIT: - High temperature (465-505c) & low pressure gas phase dehydrogenation reaction using pt on alumina catalyst for paraffin conversion to olefin.
UOP-DEFINE UNIT: - Moderate temperature (180-220c) & high pressure (36 ksc) liquid phase hydrogenation reaction using Ni-Max catalyst.
UOP-DETAL UNIT: - Olefin Alkylation's liquid phase Reaction using fluoride based catalyst.
UOP PEP UNIT: - Aromatic removing by adsorption/desorption.
HYDROCHEM-NAPTHA REFORMING: high temp. (300-440) & high pressure 25 KSC, shift reaction NAPTHA REFORMING using nickel catalyst,
UOP-HYDROTREATING UNIT: - High temperature (300-440) & High pressure gas & liquid mixed phase hydrogenation reaction using NI-MoX catalyst for kerosene.
UOP MOLEX UNIT: Molecular extraction by adsorption process.by ACCS(ROTARY VALVE) supplied by UOP.

I was involved in pre-commissioning, commissioning & start-up activity of LAB plant, paraffin plant & hydrogen plant.

Commissioning of platforming unit in paraffin plant, kerosene hydrotreating.
Process Flow Diagram and Piping & Instrumentation checking
Commissioning activities include equipment assembling catalyst loading, reactor filling, dry out of catalyst beds etc.
Distillation columns, heat exchangers, fin fan coolers inspection.
Pumps water run & m-seal conversion.

Commissioning of hot oil heater
Hot oil heater is supplied by m/s foster wheeler ltd-Canada, having capacity of 57 mkcal.
Commissioning activity include radiation, convection section, hot oil surge drum erection, tubes installation, burners installation & inspection, F.D fan, I...D fan installation.
Heater dry-out & loop filling with hot oil.

Commissioning of Kobe compressor (kobelco Japan- screw comp. & reciprocating compressor from IHI JAPAN)
Compressor box up.
Card board blasting & acid pickling of suction/discharge line.
Commissioning of lube and seal oil circuit.
Compressor heat runs.
Compressor start-up.
COMMISSIONING OF HYDROGEN (NAPTHA REFORMING) PLANT
High temp. (800-846), high press. (25kg), Shift reaction NAPTHA REFORMING reaction using nickel catalyst.
H2 plant include balance draft vertical reforming fire heater,
Hydro-desulfuriser, high temp. Shift reaction total heat recovery system for generation of steam by various waste heat boilers, vent gas recovery system, H2-PSA unit.
Plant start up activity like hydrocarbon inventory, oil flushing, cold circulation and long circulation, plant stabilization etc.
Plant normal shutdown &emergency shutdown.
