Process Plants, Power Generation, Commercial and retail, Airports, Bridges and Oil Refineries.
Responsibilities:
I am responsible for total aspects of Engineering and document control between client and WHL, for projects with values of around £8.5M.

Some of my day-to-day responsibilities are listed below:
- Material procurement lists.
- Phasing and drawing range allocation.

Supervising five design engineers educated up to "H.N.D" level.
Leading the design team to identify the problems, find different solutions and guide them to choose the best suitable solution for the particular problems.

Engineering responsibility:
As System Development Manager I was appointed to head a team of four strong engineers to design & develop a totally new system of recycling paper, which needs no conventional drying. The idea came from the feed back of the sales and marketing department after attending an exhibition at Chicago.
The task was explained to me by means of in depth meetings and discussions within my department, technical sales & marketing and frequent involvement from M.D.
As a head of the engineering team I was responsible and accountable for all technical contents within the project.
CAD responsibility:
As an enthusiastic engineer who has gained vast knowledge of Computer Aided Design I was appointed to evaluate and present my recommendations to Financial and Managing director.
I started by carrying an extensive research on available products and systems, taking to consideration cost, future upgrade and development of hardware and software, technical capability of hardware and software, especially in choosing the software industry standard and operator friendliness were crucial.
After presentation of two best systems to financial and managing directors and achieving their approval of one of the presented systems, I was given the responsibility of planning each stage of the transition period and close liaison with purchasing department to achieve to keep within budget.
I was closely involved in hardware and software installation, training arrangements and maintenance and support agreement.
Evaluation and purchase of another three stand alone CAD stations and data backup system had to follow quickly when company directors saw the advantages of CAD compare to manual drafting.
Following above project the comparative functional analysis of Co-ordinate Measuring Machine (C.M.M), computer Aided Manufacturing System. (Alpha cam) and Networking all above mentioned hardware system using Novell Light 1.1 became my final task.
