Project: BPC Butane Storage Project / Gebeng, Pahang
Period: April 2002 ~ May 2003;
As Project Engineer/ Field Engineer
Owner: BASF PETRONAS Chemicals Sdn. Bhd.
Project Description: EPC, Construction of storage tanks (bullet) and transfer pipeline for butane, which is feedstock for the BDO Plant.
Responsibility:
- Main coordinator for the Piping, Electrical and Instrument disciplines.
- Control the progress monitoring of vendor, and coordination work for inter-engineering-discipline on related equipment issues.
- Reviewing the mechanical design (Bullet Tank, K.O Drum and ERC)
- Coordination with Logistic (procurement and transportation) on related order.
- Controlling and reviewing the vendor prints.
- Controlling the cost and budget (Commercial)
- Preparation the Final Project Documentation.
- Assist the general work and field coordinator work.
- Follow-up the material control and pre-commissioning activities for Mechanical Completion.

Proposal: FPG Glycerin Refinery Project / Gebeng, Pahang.
Period: Aug 2002 ~ Dec 2002;
As Project Engineer.
Owner: FPG Oleochemicals Sdn. Bhd.
Project Description: EPC, Construction of Oleochemical Plant to refined glycerin.
Responsibility:
- Assisted the Assistant Proposal Manager in proposal work i.e. coordination on inter-discipline activities, and preparation of the proposal book.
- Application for the material tax exemption.

Period: Dec 2002 ~ Feb 2003;

Responsibility:

- Clarification for mechanical rotating equipment i.e pumps, air compressor, scales and valve.

Owner: MTBE (M) Sdn. Bhd., Gebeng, Pahang.
Project Description: EPCC, Construction and modification the existing and new equipment to produce and transfer N- Butane to BASF OXO Plant.
Responsibility:
- As a main coordinator at construction site.
- Responsible for site execution plan and construction schedule control.
- Liaise with Owner, all sub-contractor and Project Management Team to assure all information complete and carried out the construction progress.
- Reviewing all construction documents (Method statement, JSA, QC Documents).
- Review scope of works and interpret construction drawings
- Generate/develop installation sketches and drawings to formulate installation procedures
- Prepare and control project materials, consumables and equipment to be used
- Supervise/monitor and provide technical support for installation works
- Plan/coordinate and optimize components on construction work with design engineers
- Prepare post-job analysis and as-built reports
- Complete the relevant inspection with refer to PTS/ ITP/ Code Standard.
- Coordinate all the design issue and construction at site.
- Prepare and complete the construction and commissioning activities.
- Maintain all construction work in safe condition (Safety Awareness)

Position: Safety Engineer/ S.H.E Officer

Responsibility – As S.H.E Executive under Production Department.
- Maintain and up-date the safety, health and environment plan manual for the company.
- Lead, co-ordinate and develop safety plans for all related activities within the company.
- Conduct safety training and briefing to all workers and sub-contractors.
