Engineering and Design
* Leaded engineering teams, supervised and checked the Mechanical Systems Design in HEPP Projects: Karuns I, IV and MES for conformity to Client's specifications and approved final documents.
* Utilized the highest standards of design, to promote the system quality and ensure safety and reliability.
* Offered case studied solutions to optimize the systems design, reduce expenditures and simplify installation, commissioning, operation and maintenances.
* Reviewed the designs and commented on the Vendor drawings of Gas compressor packages, Gas separation and dehydration systems, Gas metering stations, approved the designs and released for construction.
* Developed innovative, cost effective concepts in design of air compression stations, instrumentation and plant airs (10mbarg to 80 barg pressure) and nitrogen generation plants (up to 7000 Nm3/h, 9 barg).
* Succeeded in design of cooling water closed loop or once through systems, pumping stations (up to 15000 m3/h), and oil treatment plants.
* Participated in piping systems design, prepared piping plans, specifications, BOM reports and purchasing orders for different projects: Oil battery and water disposal plant, Hydro Power Plant Utilities and Pump Stations.
* Prepared more than 2000 pages of: basic documentation, feasibility studies, conceptual design (DBM), calculations, drawings, data sheets, requisitions and descriptions for different projects based on Clients' technical specifications.
* Prepared pre-commissioning document for screw and reciprocating air compressors, pumps, fans and commissioning procedures of mechanical systems, coordinated and issued checklists and manuals.
Equipment selection and specifications
* Performed technical specification and requisitions for separator systems and gas run metering packages, in the manner of provisional regulations and EUB guidelines.
* Assessed the technical offers, tender bid evaluated and coordinated for finalization the specifications with Vendors and purchasing of equipment.
* Provided pressure vessels sizing, selected material and estimated thickness according to ASME Sec. VIII Div. 1, material requisitions, data sheets, dimensional and outline drawings, nozzles lists and specifications.
* Selected reciprocating type / screw type compressors, refrigeration type / adsorption type heatless dryers, absorption type separator packages and dehydration systems, prepared data sheets and POSs.
* Selected and sized pumps, ESDVs, safety and control valves, design reviewed and verified the data and specifications, prepared datasheets and requisitions.
* Well experienced in sizing and selection of Auto samplers, Quills, Water Analyzers, strainers, auto-backwash filters, cyclones and scrubbers.
