WORK EXPERIENCE
- 2004 to present day -Maas-dok Scheepswerf Maastricht and Dodewaart Sheepswerfen from Holland –Engineering and Technical Department, (Self Employed).
- 2003 – ISRAEL SHIPYARDS Ltd. Haifa – Engineering (Design) Department.
- From 1999 until 2003 - AKER SHIPYARD SA Braila – Engineering Department and Assembling Department.
Good experience as designer (over five years) in two departments, Hull Design and Mechanical, and three companies from – ISRAEL, The NETHERLANDS and ROMANIA.
MAJOR ACTIVITIES AT ENGINEER.
2004 to present day– Maas-Dok Sheepswerf and Dodewaart Sheepswerf (NL).
–Technical coordinator of Dodewaart Sheepswerfen. Supervising of shipbuilding process, find and provide solutions in execution problems, keeping of permanent connections between Engineering, Supply and Cutting Department with foremen's and our clients, Supervisor of Cutting Department.
–Project "TMS Hanse" 110m (Dodewaart Sheepswerfen), technical and workshop documentation plus cutting, shaping and bending information of plates and profiles, supervising the fabrication process.
–Project "Chemical Tank Angelika" 110m (Maas-dok Scheepswerf Maastricht), technical and workshop documentation plus cutting, shaping and bending information of plates and profiles, supervising the fabrication process.
–Project "EIL TANK 45" (Maas-dok Scheepswerf Maastricht), for REEDEREI JAEGERS Ltd., technical and workshop documentation plus cutting, shaping and bending information of plates and profiles.
2003 - ISRAEL SHIPYARDS Ltd. Haifa.
– Project Offshore Patrol Boat (60 m) under Germanischer Lloyds Register supervising –for Greek Army - Hull workshop drawings, design for alteration (owner requirement) and designs for foundations. The final documentation (workshop drawings) has attached supplementary information, ex: cutting documentation, typical details for welding or assembling, material list, necessary of materials.
- Accommodation department, design for insulation & fixing on board equipment's for navigation and communication.
- Mechanical department, HVAC plant and ventilation, design for routing of AC and ventilation ducts, dimensioning of this, including design for different mechanical parts.
From 2000 to 2003 - AKER SHIPYARD SA Braila.
- 2002 - Project "ROV" – "SEAWAY PETREL" - Purse seiner / Pelagic Trawler, for Aker Brattvaag. Compile the technical project for double bottom, fore side mid ship section and super structure including the wheelhouse, sending documentation for approval and correlated with the register remarks (D.N.V. office).
- Project "Grab Hopper Dredger 300 m3" – "DIYA KOWULLA", prepared for Sri-Lanka Port Authorities. Compile the technical project for double bottom, fore side and super structure, sending documentation for approval (Lloyd Register) and correlated with the register remarks.
- 2001 - Project "Hopper Dredger with aspiration 3000m3" – "MELINA TJUCHEM", for IHC Holland. Compile the technical project for double bottom with bottom openings, fore side and super structure including the wheelhouse, sending documentation for approval (Lloyd Register and I.H.C. Holland) and correlated with the register and owner remarks.
- 2001-Project - Brevik 21 (WAVENEY CITATEL), Brevik 22 (HAVILA SURF) and Brevik 23 (FAR SWIFT) - Research-Supply Vessel with cement tanks. Complete the workshop documentation per blocks (ex: fore side, wheelhouse), materials consumption (plates, profiles), calculations of weight for parts or center weigh for every part and blocks, welding details.
- 2000 - Design for replacement of fore side at Cargo Vessel - "Sereen" (transformation from 1500 tdw in 1800 tdw - and many structural modifications for coupling at old aft side with new fore side).
- 2000 - Projects Noryard 42 (REGINA C.), Noryard 44, Noryard 45 (ATLANTIC ENTER PRISE) - fishing vessels, for Aker Kvaerner. Complete the workshop documentation per blocks (ex: fore side, wheelhouse), materials consumption (plates, profiles), calculations of weight for parts or center weigh for every part and blocks, welding details.
Find and provide solutions in execution problems –modifications, remediation in according with naval register.
Ensure technical support including materials consumption (plates, profiles), calculations of weight for parts or center weigh for every part, blocks and ship, welding details, manipulation of the blocks, technical advise for execution.
I can determine how we will fix the difficult areas, connected on design problems and execution in according with the society of classification rules, owner requirements and operating personnel.
I also supervise how is laying out, positioning and build every metal-structural parts within the hull of ship (plates, web frames, decks beams, bulkheads etc.).
Ensure a link between Design Departments and DNV (DET NORSKE VERITAS), BV (BUREAU VERITAS), GL (GERMANISCHER LLOYD), LR (Lloyd Register) inspectors, or the other naval register.
1999 to 2000 - Mechanical Engineer–Assembling Department, Aker Shipyard Braila.
My main duty was to organize building site, to assure if the materials and draws are good and properly, to start assembling. Supervision of assembling operation, including technical support.

- 1994-1999 - NAVAL Faculty, "Low Danube" State University from Galatzi, Romania. Graduation Studies, 1999, Naval Architect Male (5-yr Degree)
- High School "Radio & TV" - Braila, Electronically Branch, 1990-1994. Bachelor Degree in 1994.
COMPUTER LITERACY
Using very good AutoCAD (any version of AutoCAD) authorized training by "AutoDesk Romania", MasterShip all versions, Windows 98, 2000, XP or NT WorkStation, Microsoft Office Pack (WORD, EXCEL), Internet Explorer, Smart Team (Project Data Manager).
MARKETABLE APTITUDES
Ability and aptitude for rapid learning and adjustments. Can work alone but enjoy teamwork. I am disciplined and I like to do my work. I enjoy being exposed to different working situations. Able for good working in stress and under pressure.

Good knowledge in English; understanding, reading and speaking.
