Professional experience with these firms has given me tremendous exposure in the field of GIS Mapping, Telecommunication Network, Sewerage water Network & Pumping Station, Construction and Design. By the help of my technical abilities I am able to cope up with any challenging work in the field of MICROSTATION, GIS, FRAMME & AUTOCAD.

Presently, I am working in Saudi Designers Engineering Consultants as a CADD Coordinator.

In Saudi Systems Corporation on SEC GIS project as a Data Conversion Specialist & Q/A Administrator.

In Lucent Technologies I was working on TEP-6 & GSM (Telephone Expansion Project – 6), which is considered as the biggest expansion in Telecommunication expansion project of the world. SCOPE OF WORKS AND TASKS

SAUDI DESIGNERS ENGINEERING CONSULTANTS:
Cadd Coordinator 11/2003 to Present
Currently absorbed with Saudi Designers Engineering Consultants as a CADD Coordinator
Involved in Coordinating the Cad operators, total ten number of Cad operators were under my supervision. Cad operators were involved in the Industrial commercial and villas projects.
Responsible for the checking of completed drawings for quality and quantity, output based on the standard specification given by the company quality control department.
Assignment of drafting job to various cad operators with respect to the discipline and cad operator's ability and capability, preparation of monthly performance reports of the Cad operators and presenting it to senior management.
Constant review of man hours on the drafting works and project Progress, and completion with respect to the allotted man hours and also checking weekly time sheets of cad operators.
Administering Windows NT network environment, taking daily backup of the data generated by Cad operators and preserving it in the company data bank server.

SAUDI SYSTEMS CORPORATION:
Data Conversion Specialist & Q/A Administrator 08/2001 To 11/2003
In Saudi Systems Corporation, The project of Saudi Electric company (SCECO) which was for the central province (Riyadh). The work Executed was transmission and distribution electrical system network. Which also includes City base map Infrastructure of riyadh City information.

Extensively involved in data conversion and digitization activities as follows:
Scanning, warp & clipping of 1000 scale maps for distribution network & 2500 scale maps for transmission network.
And also process involves the utilization of hard copy engineering drawings, scanned to raster formats and also conversion of raster image to vector with the help of Microstation geographic digitized systems.

Digitization includes roads and streets, blocks and zones and land parcels information in special data base tables which were supported by oracle spatial program.

The information of Riyadh city, which was in DGN Format, is converted to Arc GIS shape file formats.
Conversion includes polygons of parcels information, road lines and points information after conversion the information is being updated into table information and also adding new table information into Arc GIS tables likewise customer information, meter information, substation information and cable information etc.
New area information as extensions are also digitized directly into Arc GIS with the help of Arial photographic images.

Participating in the manager's meeting to avail the information from management and required data to be fed to operators. Responsible for the checking of completed regions quality and standard specification given by the SEC.

ABB CONTRACTING COMPANY LTD.:
Asst. Design Engineer 08/2000 To 08/2001

PROJECT: Electrical sub-station building layout & Power Cable Routing.
Prepared site survey of construction for approval, design and drawings of new sub-station, existing sub-station building layout and power cable route planning and profile.
Prepared construction drawings of transformer, switchgear, cable ladder and cable tray layout plan. Cross sectional detailing of direct buried cable, reinforcement and underground cable duct details.
Conversion of all above drawings in to AS-BUILT drawings.

LUCENT TECHNOLOGIES INT.(AT&T):
Senior Cadd Technician 08/95 To 07/2000

Project: Telephone Expansion Project (Tep-6) & Gsm for Kingdom Of Saudi Arabia.
The Project is based for Fiber Optic Cable Networking throughout the Kingdom. This task is performed on Microstation & Intergraph FRAMME (Facilities Rulebase Application Model Management Environment). Which includes complete graphical (Microstation) & Non-Graphical (Oracle) information of Saudi Arabia.

Extensively involved in the above said project, performing Fiber optic cable routes designs and preparation of necessary engineering documents and drawings for: National Network Grid through out the Saudi Arabia.

Long distance & international Fiber Optic direct buried cable network, Fiber optic cable junction network, Fiber optic cable access city rings and fiber optic access cable network to terminate in the switching module.

As per the design requirement, design new routes of 50mm PE cable duct, Manholes and conduits, conduit reinforcement, detailed conduit extension and underground cabling and its duct formation.

Preparation and conversion of drawings from actual field survey into final drawings for: Route maps of fiber optic cable, fiber optic cable graphic junction of telephone exchanges boundary maps, Fiber optic cable graphic access of telephone cabinets boundary maps, fiber jointing schematic, fiber cable schematic, Hrislu site location maps including of all technical details and key maps of the cities of Saudi Arabia.

Apart using Satellite Global Positioning system (GPS) to fix the Geographic Coordinates by processing satellite signal and convert in to digital DXF or other format into drawing media (Microstation) where the surveyors capture the data from the field and download data from data logger for processing.

Design of new telephone exchange buildings, modification and extension of existing building drawings, According to client requirement (STC) Preparing floor plan layout of the equipments such as: Main distribution frame (MDF), Optical distribution frame (ODF), Digital distribution frame (DDF), cable vault plan, cable ladder and cable tray layout from cable vault to ODF in isometric view.

Design details for: pre-cast and cast in situ, manholes and hand holes, bridge attachment, wadi crossing, thrust bore and other cross sectional details.

Preparing transmittal/shipment for consultant (NSA) Checking & review the plant units & drawings after consultant comments. Prepared red lines for as-built after PAT, Conversion of all above mention drawings into AS-BUILT record drawings.

ABALKHAIL CONSULTING ENGINEERS (RIYADH)
Cadd Supervisor 04/94 To 08/95

Involved in Supervising the Microstation & AutoCAD operators, total six number of Cad operators were under my supervision. Cad operators were involved in the following activities in which my involvement was:

Preparation of Sewerage water network and pumping station drawings on the basis of data obtained from field survey & design section.
Administering Windows NT network environment, taking daily backup of the data generated by Cad operators and preserving it in the company data bank, preparation of monthly performance reports of the Cad operators and presenting it to senior management.
Responsible for the accomplishment of the job in the right time or targeted dead line given by the management.
Assign different kinds of ready drawings to Cad operators based on their individual capabilities and strength on the right job for them.
Responsible for the checking of completed drawings for quality and quantity output based on the standard specification given by the company quality control department.
Participating in the Design Manager's meeting to avail the information from Architects & Designers to get the required data to be fed to Cad operators for developing the presentation drawings and suggests them to incorporate the comments of Senior Designers if any before presenting it to client.
