Drilling and Workover Operations Engineer – Cusiana / Cupiagua / Recetor Fields     May 2000 - Present
Planning: Currently, Engineer in charge of Beyond the Best Common Process implementation for SDLA – Colombia. BtB is still in the implementation phase for two projects in SDLA Business Unit.
Operations: Engineer in charge of making detailed engineering to assure the optimum operation of two rigs at the time, including well design and drilling operations during two years. Main responsibilities are summarised as follows:
•    Raise the required documents such as IDP, Well Program, AFE for the execution and control of the well drilling operations. Analyse drilling operations progress to compare it against the plan (Cost-time)
•    Propose and Design the required changes during the drilling phase of the well in order to solve the problems and improve the well performance. Interact with all drilling related personnel to improve the communication level between all of them leading to a better understanding of the different issues in the well.
•    Analyse and Make the End of well report (performance and outcome) of the well to capture the lessons learnt and inform them for future planning. Execute Post-well review meetings.

This position was mainly focus on the tasks related to the drilling engineering operations. The main responsibilities included:

•    Stand for any Drilling Operations engineer when required to ensure the normal development of the Well Delivery Process.
