FUNCTIONAL OBJECTIVE:
Want to work as an oil and gas production corrosion / laboratory executive in a position where I will have opportunities to build and refine my functional skills and knowledge.

EXPERIENCE
5 years of experience in oil and gas production corrosion and laboratory management.
Total experience in the field of chemistry is 9 years.

FUNCTIONAL SUMMARY:
Corrosion Monitoring
Corrosion monitoring schedule preparation and planning to prevent corrosion and maximize the productivity of corrosion monitoring system.
Review of data, assessment of internal and external environment corrosivity and the preparation of reports for chemical treatment, corrosion monitoring and corrosion management.
Co-ordinate corrosion and integrity management activities with other engineering disciplines to meet project requirements.
Knowledge of corrosion theory and failure analysis, corrosion mitigation techniques, chemical treatment, corrosion monitoring and inspection techniques.
Work with contractors to facilitate additional needs within the facilities. These include contractors brought in to perform services such as internal pipeline inspections to implement changes.

Chemical Treatment
Maximize benefits of existing chemical treatment program by reducing cost and increasing the performance.
Preparation of chemical treatment schedule and implementation with chemical vendor.
Performance evaluation of the oil field chemicals for ensuring the dosage rates.
Selection of chemical treatment vendor for chemical contract by considering history, cost, quality, reliability, supply, laboratory and field performance of chemicals.

Cathodic Protection
Manage and implement of cathodic protection systems to maintain integrity of assets.
Collect and analyze data from CP stations and rectifiers and take action in a timely manner to protect pipelines.

Laboratory Management
Working & calibration knowledge of Spectrophotometer, Gas chromatograph, Karl Fisher Titrator (potentiometric), Coulter counter.
Knowledge of Crude oil, Natural gas, glycol, effluent, injection water, produced water, RO & DM water, cooling tower water analytical techniques.
Preparation of Standards operating procedures (SOP) for laboratory analysis to meet the quality standards.
Inventory Management plan for laboratory consumables in order to maintain chemicals for the laboratory tests.
Laboratory data management for easy retrieval and decision making.
Working with ISRS, ASTM, APHA, NACE standards.

Environment
Work with task force team to enhance EMS catering to the needs of ISO.
Plan for the disposal of laboratory generated waste in order to reduce impact on environmental resources.
Co-ordinate with effluent treatment plant personal to meet the parameters of effluent discharge in order to reduce impact on marine living organisms.

Safety
Preparation and implementation of laboratory related safety procedures in order to meet the injury and accident free environment.
