I have more than 22 years experience in the Instrumentation and Electrical field with commissioning, factory
acceptance testing, implementation, maintenance and fault finding in the following industries:
Petro Chemical, Mining, Chemical, Pulp and Paper.
I start my career in 1978 at a railway company, they train me, and send me to collage
in 1981 I complete my T4, in 1980 I also pass my trade test. In Nov 81 I move to ERGO
it is a mining company. I work most of the time at the Acid plant, in 1989 I become Foreman.
Three years I was in that poison doing everything the job asks from me. I left the company in 1991.
The same year I start my own business in partnership with I Nell, doing contract work at a Petro Chemical
plant Secunda, we done all types of Inst. and Elect work. We work for 5 years then the contract was
cancelled, due to the bad economy I was force to start working for a company. In1997 I start working
for Sappi were I am now 5 years. In 2001 I did write my wireman s license and also my Elect trade test.
