Latest assignment (Feb 1998 – Dec 2002) :

Office-based operations geologist for major oil company based in UK, involved in drilling high pressure / high temperature clastic and depleted chalk wells in North Sea and deepwater partner wells offshore Britain.

Expertise :

Includes confident handling of high pressure and deep water wells and obtaining all wireline objectives from these wells. Will provide sound judgement in guiding wellsite decisions based on previous experience as both a geology operations supervisor and operations geologist, across-the-board knowledge gained in different geological disciplines and from working with many multi-disciplined drilling teams. Can also furnish a solid operational training base for young geologists early in their career.

Previous assignments :

Includes geological specialist in Norway (1993-98) working on Ekofisk development wells, geology operations supervisor in UK (1987-93) managing two operations geologists (four rigs), development geologist in London (1985-87) involved with southern North Sea gas fields and exploration geologist in Far East (1981-85) engaged in acreage evaluation and acquisition.
