EXPERIENCES
1. Presently working as a DCS / control room operator in toma south field ( FPF ) of
Greater nile petroleum operating company since 1999 ( about 6 years ).

Responsibility - To operate and observe all parameter of wells like REDA &
Daiqing ESP wells, monitoring of chemical injections like
PPD, DEMULSIFIER, Reverse demulsifier, gas eliminator.
Operating FPF through DCS, operation of free water knock out
Vessels, test separator, micro motion meter, well testing,
Operation of crude transfer pumps, air compressors, produced
Water system, skim oil system, disel generator, chemical pumps etc
Collection and checking of well head sample and making centrifuge
Test for water cut, instruction to field operator for hourly reading
Of all operational equipments, chemical filling, chemical
consumption and calibration as per laboratory desired inj rate.

OPERATION OF PUMPING STATION
This facility is a big facilty connected trough all other fpf discharge
System on 20 inches pipeline and has 4 booster pumps.
Operation of booster pumps through 20 inches line, pig launching
And receiving through main and bypass line
Controlling of pressure control valve on manual.mode during abnormal
Situation or power trips, monitoring of lubrication system, heat trace
System, inlet fiters and other instrument on PLC panel.
Monitoring of vibration and temperature of motors & auxiliaries.
Flow rate of pump station - 1600 m3 0r 10062 bbls / hour.
Capacity of each booster pump = 750 m3 /hour.

ELECTRICAL OPERATION
During any power trips or power fluctuation am responsible to operate
6.6 kv / 400 volts busbars / breakers, also to observe line to line volts
Ams loads, reactive power etc.
During total shut down to operate diesel generators and feeding
Emergency power supply to mcc and UPS ( 120 V / 240 V / 24 V ).
Synchronization of bus bars after power restoration, making tie breaker
Operation during during single feeder power supply.
Normal checks of relays, supervision relay, 86 lockout relay, indication
Lamps, led, fpf flood lighting system, indoor lighting, emergency light,
Supplies to heater on vessels, drinking water pumps, UPS batteries etc.

REPORTS
Preparation of daily production report, well test report, pond oil report.
Pump station report, diesel /power consumption report, morning and
Evening highlight reports etc.
Submiting report to production supervisor and superintendent.

OTHER ACTIVITY
A Issue work permits (cold/hot/lift/confined space) to contractors after a
Formal discussion and evaluation on site / equipment.
Observation of progress of job and reporting to supervisor.
B Issue of work permits to maintenance team for any corrective or
Preventive maintenance, instruction to field operators for observation.
C Maintain clean environment in/ around facility with assistance of casual
Workers and field operators.
Dumping of garbage, oily rags, waste materials, sanitary waste water
Onto related bio-degradable and non bio-degradable pits.

2. worked as a control room operator in wafra oil field KUWAIT
During year 1997 -1998 with Westinghouse electric ltd.
(Main company – Saudi arabian Texaco & KOC.)

RESPONSIBILITY
DCS OPERATING – Westinghouse wdpf system.
Remained responsible to operate GAS TURBINES, TURBO
GENERATORS, air compressors, coolers, heat exchanger,
(4x 40 mw generators on normal load) with 60 hz generators.
GAS COMPRESSORE (dresser rand canada made).
Operation of carter pillar generator and starting motors during
Black start, synchronization of generator to respective bus bars
Of 13.8 kv, switching transformers and feeders for oil field pumps
And auxiliary, start up and shut down ( normal & emergency) of
GAS turbines and generatos.
Controlling and matching between demand load and generation load
By auto and manual excitation system.
Operation of TURBINES on isochronous mode and droop mode.

OBSERVATION
Of spped, volts, ampere load, power factor, demand load,
Inlet guide van positioner, bleed valves, lubrication pumps
Pressure, temperature of combustion chamber & turbine stages,
Thurst and exhaust bearings, ambient and cooling air.
Monitoring of ideal spin turbines, turning gears, exciter UPS etc.
Monitoring of scrubbers and condensate level etc.

3. worked as a senior control room operator in
SWCC Saudi Arabia from 1992 to 1996.

RESPONSIBILITY
OPERATION of 28 inches and 36 inches pipeline through
DCS /SCADA system.
Remained responsible to operate booster pumps of 1450 m3 / hr
Capacity with a high discharge pressure, surge vessels, air banks,
Air compressors, cooling plant, reservoirs, diesel pumps,
Flow and pressure control valves. pigging
Operation of hydraulic and pneumatic control valves.
Chemical injection, observation of all parameters and PLC system,
Preparation of reports and forwarding to operation manager.

4. worked in TISCO ltd at jamshedpur from 1986 to 1992
As a POWER PLANT OPERATOR.

To operate steam turbines, boilers, compressor, condenser,
Air ejector, feed pumps, turbo and motor driven pumps,
Cooling plant, condensate extraction pumps, surge tanks,
Lubrication pumps, cooling water pumps and many more

5. worked as an Operator in AKKHOMS power station
In LIBYA from 1981 to 1983.

Operation of BABCOCK BOILERS, desalination plant, Reserve feed tanks,
Oil pumping station, shipping pumps, heat trace system,
Reserve feed tank, sea water pumps, chemical dozing pumps, cooling pumps.
Pipe line operation, jetty control board operation for ship anchoring
And unloading heavy fuel oil.
