This is one of the largest refinery in the Middle East.
I am working as an Instrument Foreman in KNPC through Al-Bahar Jacorossi Engg. Co. I am working in its Gas Plant which consists of Three LPG Trains, Seven Boilers and Utility plant. The LPG trains consists of 3 identical plants that have 4 centrifugal compressors, Heaters, Treaters, Heat Exchangers, Coolers, Chillers Stripper, Absorber, and Towers for De-Ethaniser, De-Propaniser and De-Butaniser. All the equipments are run in co-ordination by Foxboro IA series DCS, Allen Bradley PLC and August ESD systems. The 4 compressors are one single stage compressor with inlet suction pressure 25 bar and discharge pressure 40 bar and three 3-stage compressors with inlet suction pressure 0.5 bar and discharge pressure 15 bar. All compressors are of DEMAG with the vibration monitoring system of Bentley Nevada 3300 series. The 7 boilers consists of 4 LENTJES, 2 MITSUBISHI and 1 MACCHI each having capacity of 180 T/hr.
Nature Of Job:
Here I am working with the instrument Maintenance Division in direct co-ordination with the plant field and control room operators and supervisors. My job includes trouble shooting, Preventive & Corrective maintenance of all kinds of instruments. I am working with DCS of Foxboro IA series, PLC of Allen Bradley, ESD system of August and large range of pneumatic, electronic and microprocessor based process instruments.
