INTRODUCTION
I am experienced in doing the following activities:

* Generate conceptual designs or customise existing designs for proposals or projects from customer or internally generated specifications and prepare design layouts using 2D or 3D drawing packages.
* Locating of equipment's in the working area provided, considering various criteria, like Accessibility, Pipe length, Installation etc.
* Prepare a good Piping and Mechanical Engineering design using PDMS or AutoCAD software to produce piping layouts, Isometrics and other piping/engineering related doc.
* Generate Initial stage Manual free hand sketches with reference to Modules and equipment layout, Spec, Civil/Strl. Drg. etc.
* Tank Farm or Rig Platform drawing and design generation of Piping Isometrics.
* Preparation of fabrication isometrics (spool Isometrics)
* Bill of Material Take-off and consolidation of BOM using Excel of QMS
* Modelling and Preparing of Pipe Support details and sketches.
* Building of Catalogues components as per project requirements.
* Review for Checking of pipes and for possible clashes.
* Verify design where necessary to formalised in product design files and Product Design Documentation.
* Present design drawings to engineering staff during internal design reviews.
* Prepare and review detail drawings (selecting raw material as necessary) prepared from design layouts.
* Make necessary engineering changes to product drawings.
* Participate in investigation and disposition of non-conformances.
* Generate equipment assembly, test, handling, storage, rework, maintenance and commissioning procedures as required.
* Provide necessary support to the various internal departments (manufacturing, shop, planning, QA, commercial, purchasing, assembly etc) as equipment is progressed through the facility.
* Attend Field service where required during onshore/offshore installation.
* Carry out general engineering duties as identified by the relevant group leader or engineering manager.

AREA OF EXPERTISE:
I am well capable of preparing all related drawings / doc. using PDMS or AutoCAD software. I have great knowledge on most Material and standards.
I have high work initiative and can take up responsibility and work with less guidance as a task force member. I have a speed to work in PDMS or AutoCAD and have a reasonable knowledge on the software for 5 years.

PRESENT EXPERIENCE:
Presently working in Sembwang Marine And Offshore Engineering, Singapore, as Senior Piping Design Draftsman from Oct. 2002 Till Date. I have joined the design team in the process of developing all the equipments and piping layout plans including Pipes and Pipes supports, Isometrics and P&ID up to As built stage. I have successfully completed handling the following projects assigned to me:-
Halfdan Field Development Phase III Project, Panyu offshore well head platform Devon Energy China and currently I am assigned to do the "Bill of Material " for ERHA FPSO Project. The BOM's are generated by means of QA software system (Quantity Management System)
