Over Thirteen years experience in the Pipeline/Piping design of gas and crude oil pipeline systems and plant modifications. Developed and implemented design criteria and procedures for various oil and gas projects including pipelines, pump and compressor stations, storage terminals and production facilities. Experience includes in project management, feasibility studies, front end engineering, conceptual design, detail design, project proposals, flexibility analysis, procurement assistance, construction support for grass root plants, upgrades revamping and modifications of hydrocarbon, production, refining, storage, distribution and down-stream facilities related to Refineries, Gas Plants, Bulk Plants and Loading Terminals facilities, GOSPs, Cross Country Pipelines, Petrochemical/Utility Plants, Off-shore tie-in Platforms and Marine & related Facilities.
Nature of work includes detailed design, preparation and checking of plot plan, equipment layout, P&ID, process flow diagrams, hydro test diagrams, piping general arrangement drawings, piping isometrics, piping specification, Pipe supports, Hot tap, stopple and sleeve calculations. ..etc. for onshore, offshore and in-plant piping. Performed pipe stress analysis, using CAESAR II, CAE PIPE & SIMFLEX-S. Software. Technical Evaluation & Vendor drawings review of pumps, valves, pipes, fittings (HotTap, Stopple, 5D bends etc), tanks and other special equipment. Conversant with all international standards including ANSI, ASME, API, COADE, SAUDI ARAMCO, Royal Commission/ SABIC Petrochemical Plants codes, specifications and material systems.

Assigned to the Conceptual Design, Project proposals, Detail design, pipe stress analysis, studies, preparation of P&ID, Plot plan, Equipment layout, S.I.S., Hydro test diagram, piping isometrics, Scope of Work, Tie-in isometrics and Hot Tap calculations, Material Take-Off, Piping Specifications, Purchase requisition, Vendor drawing & NMR review, construction contract documents and Bid Package Evaluations bid analysis, man-hours estimation, bid negotiations and close out of the projects. Responsible for various projects of Southern Area Design Services, Abqaiq & Udhailiyah involving projects for UTMH Gas Plant, SDGM Gas Plant, East-West P/Ls, PS #3 revamping of scarper Trap Stations & J.O's. Rerouting of Riyadh/Qasim multi product P/L outside private land. Involved on installation of Full Flow by-pass Valves across OSPAS valves at Power Plant – 7, 8 & 9 – Riyadh. Worked on upgrade of Crude Oil Booster Pumps for UGOSP-8 & 9 & 13 to increase the thru-put capacity.
Assigned to design of Full Flow by-pass valves across main line Isolation Valves of SHY-1, East-West P/L at 37 locations. Job required Conceptual Design, E.R. Estimate & Material Procurement assistance
Responsible for developing various projects of SADSD, CADSD (SAUDI ARAMCO) pertaining to Abqaiq Plants, Southern Area and East West Pipelines at Yanbu, UTMH, SDGM/UTMH Gas Plants, UTMH/ SDGM / Aindar GOSPS and Riyadh Refinery.
Job involved development of piping and instrument diagrams, piping specifications, materials and equipment specifications and design review for up gradation of pump stations, scraper trap facilities, pipeline redesign and replacements, day lighting and preparation of design packages with E.R. Estimates. Responsible for various Saudi Aramco projects at Riyadh, Abqaiq, and Yanbu refineries including: - Static and Dynamic piping analysis of wash water system at Riyadh refinery. Job involved upgrading Anti Foam system, Nitrogen Blanketing system for low flash storage tanks. Upgrade oily waste pumps for K.O. Drum of Flares, Desalter effluent disposal system, improve safety system at chemical tanks Provision of Knock out Drums and emergency steam vents in process areas. Stress analysis, bid proposals, scope of works, quality assurance plans, pipe sizing & pressure drop calculations.

HAWIYAH NGL RECOVERY PROJECTS
Worked with Jacobs Engineers (JE, Calgary, Canada) as an inside kingdom consultants for Hawiyah NGL Recovery Projects. The project consists of following tasks.
Fractionation Capacity increase Ju'aymah Gas Plant by installing a new fourth fractionation train.
Expand capacity of SHJ NGL (Shedgum NGL) by installing new 30 inch, 155 KM NGL Transfer Pipeline.
Construct new 22 inch, 120 KM, NGL pipe line from NGL recovery plant (Hawiyah) to Shedgum Gas Plant.
Construct new Ethane plus recovery Facility to process 3.8 BCFD Sales gas streams from HGP (Hawiyah Gas Plant) & HDGP (Haradh Gas Plant)
Increase Capacity of Hawiyah Gas Plant from 1.6 MMSCFD to 2.4 MMSCFD.
Expand capacity of existing ethane pipeline by installing new ethane pipeline from Ju'aymah Gas Plant to jubail Industrial City.
SHY-1 (Shed gum to Yanbu) pipeline debottlenecking. Install one new shipper pump at Shed gum gas plant; three new CGT driven booster pumps at E/W, PS-6 (East/ west pump station-6)
Add Gas Tie-in Transmission lines for HNRP to/from HGP & HDGP sales gas lines.
RENOVATIN OF THE SOUTH JETTY – RAS AL-KHAFJI
Job involved extension & renovation of berths areas, loading and unloading facilities, metering stations and additional storage facilities to service heavy vessels in environmentally safe conditions. Work included renovation of existing and provision of utilities for the extended South Jetty. This project is a joint operation of Kuwait Gulf Oil Company and Aramco Gulf Operations
Design and Installation of Transmission Pumps on Gathering station Pump Platform, By Pass and ESD valves on the OFFSHORE Pump Platforms, inlet crude oil lines from the flow stations and on the crude oil outlet lines from the pump platform to Transmission lines. This project is located at Al-Khafji (Arabian Gulf, Offshore).
UA PIPELINES SYSTEM UPGRADE, SAUDI ARAMCO
Worked as a Piping Engineer for preparation of stress analysis, studies, plot plan, Piping Plans, S.I.S., Hydro test diagram, isometrics, Scope of Work, Material Take-Off, Piping Specifications, Purchase Specification, Vendor drawing & NMR review construction contract documents and Bid Package.
The job involved detail design, Procurement Assistance, and As-Built, Project Record Books including Construction Support for various Uthmaniyah / Abqaiq Crude/Gas Pipelines Upgrade Project for SAUDI ARAMCO. Work involved for field survey, feasibility studies pipeline routing of above ground / buried cross-country pipelines with installation of scraper launchers/receivers at various sites in Northern & Southern areas. Hot Tap and stopple connection, temporary piping for decruding, purging and hydro test, bill of quantities, technical and material specifications, detailed procedures for 48" dia. UA-6 pipeline reconditioning and rehabilitation
SAFCO SECOND AMMONIA/UREA PLANT – JUBAIL
Worked with Tecnimont-Italy for preparation of Conceptual Design (DBSP preparation for Royal Commission and Saudi Aramco approval) followed by detailed design/engineering, construction support thru commissioning support. As-Built and Project Record Books for 20" Natural Gas P/L & Metering Station, East/West pipeline corridor E/W # 1 with Firewater system extension for Royal Commission, as part of Second Ammonia/Urea Expansion Project of SAFCO.
Project involved provision of 3.50 KM long 20" dia Natural Gas Pipeline routing through Pipeline corridor extension in Royal Commission Jubail area crossings Roadways, SCECO-East duck banks/Rail Road and Telecom Right of Ways. Job involved installation of custody metering station in SAFCO Plant, controlled by OSPAS, Saudi Aramco
PIPELINE CLEANING FACILITIES UPGRADE SAUDI ARAMCO
Job involved pipeline rerouting for above ground/buried and sub-sea pipeline sections, layout of ten-scraper trap stations, surge relief stations, jumpovers, Hot-Tap connections and in-plant piping modifications at 13-sites comprising AB, DRT, QA, QRT, TFJB and RTJ X country pipelines in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia. Performed flexibility analysis by using CAESAR-II and SIMFLEX-S software. Prepared Hot Tap calculation and SIS including Hydro test Diagram.

Gharda Chemicals Ltd., CPF Plant, Chiplun, India
Worked as Lead Engineer for this project. Involved in following activities.
Guiding a team of Engineers, Jr. Engineers, Designers, Draughts men, etc. for the day-to-day activities of the project. Preparation of conceptual layout and design. Preparation of piping specifications, product & service index, piping material specification, specification for piping components. Equipment layout, piping general arrangement drawing, isometric review. Preparation and review of bulk, intermediate and final material take of Preparation of purchase requisitions for piping components and technical review of quotation (TR), etc. Prepared work measurement scheduled (DD-78), recovery plan and scheduled for the project.
Deputed on-site for six months with a team of engineers/designers & draughtsman to sort out the field problems.
Thai Organics Chemicals Ltd., Thailand (Caustic Soda & Epichlorohydrin Plant)
Preparation of piping specification, equipment layout, bill of materials. Apart from piping design involved in fire protection & detection system for this project. Designed and prepared the specification for fire hydrant system, scheme drawing of fire hydrant system, layout of fire hydrant system for floating enquires, evaluation of quotation received from various vendors, checking and approval of drawings submitted by successful vendor independent design review per ISO-9001 requirements

Designed fire hydrant water spray (HVW/MVW) foam, C02 system and coordinated with main consultant, Lahmeyer International, Egypt, for approval of systems/drawings.
NTPC Gandhar Combined Gas Power Station, Bharuch, India.
Development of piping and instrument diagrams, piping specifications, materials and equipment specifications and design review of fire hydrant, water spray (HVW/MVW), foam, C02, Halon and prepared piping general arrangement drawings, including pump house layout, etc. Prepared operation and maintenance manual for this project.
OPGCL, IB Valley Thermal Power Station Orissa, India
Detailed design and preparation of fire hydrant and water spray schematic and part drawings. Carrying out pressure loss calculations for the above systems using manual and software packages.
