EDUCATION
1. Post graduate: Master Of Technology (M.Tech) in Applied Geology from Pt. Ravishanker Shukla University India, 1997. Sedimentary petrology and clay mineralogy was my specialization. Attended field training of four months as a part of curriculum.

2. Graduate: Bachelor Of Science (B.Sc) in Geology, Physics and Mathematics from Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University, 1994. This was a three year curriculum laying equal emphasis on broad aspects of Geology, Physics and Mathematics. Attended field training of two months in geological mapping and surveying.

EXPERIENCE
1. Working with Sperry International (A Division Of Halliburton Energy Services) from 18th October 1999 till date as Senior Field Engineer (MWD / LWD)

Based at Oman on a rotation of 45 days work and 30 days leave from India.
Clients: Petroleum Development Of Oman and Occidental Of Oman
Nature of work:
- Open Hole Logging of different well sections with Sperry's LWD tools ranging from Directional and gamma to Neutron porosity (CNP and CTN), Density (ALD, SLD), Internal pressure (PWD),Resistivity (EWR-Phase 4 2Mhz and 500K) and At Bit Inclination (ABI).
- Worked with tools based on Positive and Negative pulse telemetry and the latest PPM (Combination of Positive and Negative telemetry).
- Advanced resistivity modeling using 'INVAMOD', 'EWRANI' and 'EWRMOD' models to correct the log for mud invasion, anisotropy and structural interpretation.
- Real Time data acquisition and transmission via satellite network to remote stations.
- Apply Environmental corrections to Gamma log, Neutron log and Density log using standard charts and mud analysis.
- Preliminary Interpretation of marker horizon, GOC, OWC and lithology.

2. Worked with Computalog Drilling Services (A Precision Drilling Company) from 13th August 1998 to 30th September 1999 as Field Engineer (MWD)

Based at Mumbai and work was mainly restricted to Mumbai Offshore
Clients: Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd (ONGC, India) and Niko Resources, Canada.
Nature Of Work:
- Open Hole Logging with Probe based Negative Pulse tools ranging from Directional to Gamma ray.
- Correlation of Gamma ray logs from different wells

3. Worked with Oil Field Instrumentation from 15th November 1997 till 12th August 1998 as Geo-Log Engineer (Mudlogger)

Based at Assam and Mumbai offshore in India.
Client: Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd (ONGC, India)
Nature Of Work:
- Real Time Logging of different parameters associated with drilling an exploratory and Development well.
- Study of bottom hole samples and their description.
- Preparation of composite logs with inputs of gas, sample description and other drilling parameters together.
- Continuous monitoring of gas chromatograph and analysis of hydrocarbon gases.

4. Worked as Part-time lecturer with Government Engineering College, Raipur India from July 1997 to December 1997.
Nature Of Work:
Worked as faculty to teach sedimentary petrology to undergraduate students of Geology.
