1- Project Engineer responsible for:
I- Planning & Follow-Up:

* Establishing and developing a principal baseline work program by making a close liaison with all concerned discipline engineers in other departments to design WBS and utilizing it to develop project program using Primavera Project Planner 3.1.
* Co-ordinating with all concerned engineers in order to keep the work plan conformable with contract terms.
* Estimating the cost and determining the requirements for each stage of the project ( Initiation Stage, Execution Stage,
Hand-Over Stage ).
* Liaising with the Project Manager and other concerned to establish a material management list, negotiating with the suppliers, making purchase orders, checking the required materials, arranging and fixing the material delivery date, verifying the delivery of required materials, solving the unexpected problems for any shortage in materials flow.

* Monitoring day to day site activities, manpower and equipment, the overall progress of the project, actual expenditures vs plan cost and keeping the Project Manager updated on these issues.

* Following up the project schedule, updating the schedule for all additional works due to any variation orders.

* Preparing schedule analysis, measuring the progress on project schedule as part of status update, identifying the defect causes, producing recovery schedules as required by project management team, rectifying the deficiencies in order to maintain the progress in accordance with the baseline work program.
