I was employed with Oceaneering for 13 years. During this time I helped with the construction and startup of 6 platforms. Responsible for Field Supervision of new projects. As a company rep was responsible for quality control inspections at the shipyards, commissioning and startup of projects. After startup as FPSO Production Superintendent. I gained expert operations knowledge in the areas of subsea wells, gas lift, reservoir management, hydraulic pumps, subsea flow lines and control umbilicals. I am organized, dependable, skillful and Proficient in Microsoft Word. Responsible for all daily reports aboard the FPSO as the Production Superintendent. Experienced in all areas of running the platform, including FPSO, but not limited to, commissioning, startup, system data, production, shutdowns and restarts, well testing, monitoring and optimizing of the equipment. I am an excellent troubleshooter and problem solver. Because of my expertise in this field, I am often asked to do consulting for other companies and I feel this is my field of expertise. I work well with other people and am a “hands on” type employee. I am accustomed to working with people of different nationalities and after 20 years (13years employment & 7years military) even language barriers are easy for me to over come. I am comfortable working anywhere in the world.

Some experience highlights include:
Commissioning and startup team leader, and Production Superintendent for FPSO Zafiro Producer- Exxon/Mobil, Equatorial Guinea.
FPSO Producer: 150,000 bfpd, Oil 125,000 bopd Water 25,000 bwpd, Gas 120 mmscfd.
The Zafiro field produces from subsea wells through seafloor flowlines to the FPSO. There are eight wells (and eight trees) each subsea tree are individually controlled from the Master Control System ( MCS) located on the FPSO. Hydraulic and electrical control umbilicals connect the EH/MUX control system on the FPSO to each tree, through a HOST manifold. The subsea wells are grouped in there field. The production of each well is commingled at the HOST manifold, and flowed through dual flowlines, up flexible risers to the FPSO. Each HOST has 4 wells tie to the HOST and the HOST has two producing flowlines going to the FPSO. All wells can flow in one flowing for pigging operations. The operation of the HOST is control at the FPSO. Each HOST has 6” gaslift line to each tree. The water depths on some of these fields range to 2,000ft.
I was overseeing all flowline riser (36) being pull to the FPSO before startup and I was schooling by Mobil and INTEC before operation started. All control rooms are PLC.
And MMI. The FPSO also had Gas injection plant that could inject gas or for gas lift the unit MARS could inject gas up to 120 mmscfd all control by PLC. And the FPSO had a 120,000 bwpd water flood unit that is control by PLC.
This field also subsea inline pumps for flowlines over 5 miles out from the FPSO.

I was on this unit for 6 years and during time we had 4 more phase of construction and during the time of construction I had kept the FPSO producing oil and during this time and my entire oil field career I had no lost time under my supervision.
I had received 4 letters of appreciation from Mobil during my time on the FPSO for finding engineering default during construction save time and money.
I had responsibility of 300 men at times on the FPSO during the construction phase.

Construction, commissioning and startup and Production Superintendent for the FPSO Ocean Producer-Amoco, Gabon and relocations for Sonangol, Angola.
The FPSO Ocean Producer Production: 25,000bfpd and 20,000bopd and 12,000bwpd and gas production 15mmscfd. Pressure up 1400psi well, had 8 producing well all subseas and control by HPU. The Ocean Producer also had 20,000bwpd water flood unit.
I was overseeing the construction of the process plant and subsea work. On both location I oversee the well connection and pressure tested all flowlines, overseeing the pulling of the riser of the flowlines.

Foreman in charge of shutdowns, for welding and repairs. Some companies I was contracted to include: Georgia Pacific, International Paper, and Shell and Chevron Refineries. I was responsible for reworking Boilers, over-seeing crews of around 200.

1979-1985 United States Marine Corps
I was in the military for over 6 years. My final appointment was as General’s Aid which required National Security Clearance and during time I received a letter of commendation. And 2 years in Force Recon

1975-1977 Qualified Machinist @ Durfab Mfg Inc. Which is machine/ fabrication/ construction com. Working nights during school I qualified as a machinist helper.
