SCHLUMBERGER IPM (January 2004 – Present)
Field Engineer (staff) for Schlumberger IPM (Integrated Project Management), working on two different projects, one in Neuquén (Rio Tinto) and another in Comodoro Rivadavia (Drill 150). My duties in both projects included controlling and auditing the compliance with QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety and Environment) Standards and Knowledge Management. For the Drill 150 project, I also worked in a Drilling and Completion Engineering role.
INTERFACES S.A. (June 2003 – October 2003)
Reservoir engineer (contract), contributing towards software development for the analysis of oil and gas reservoirs, focused on the simulation of waterflooding projects, and development of software for the interpretation of open-hole well logs.
TECPETROL (December 2000 – May 2001) – previous to graduation
Full-time paid internship in El Tordillo field, San Jorge Gulf Basin, working for the Reservoir Engineering Department. Completed reservoir studies and monitored waterflooding performance, analysing production information and operations on wells (workover / stimulation). Pro-rated production by layer based on this information, grouping reservoirs to determines the potential reserves from waterflooding to be produced from each group. In addition to this, validated log readings values stored in the database for the most important reservoirs.

Summer paid internship, in Cerro Dragon field, San Jorge Gulf Basin. Quick rotation providing assistance to different departments (mainly drilling engineering and production engineering) in order to familiarize students with everyday field operations and well drilling and completion.
