JOB PROFILE
I have been working in J-Tech (Pvt.) Ltd as Process Engineer. I have done six-week internship in ICI Soda Ash Plant located in Khewra, Pakistan. My main responsibility in J-Tech includes;
* Basic engineering design of the equipments used in Chemical, Oil & Gas Plants including Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers, Tanks, Pumps, Compressors, Auxiliary Equipment
* Preparation of proposals.
* Development of Process Flow Diagrams, Utility Flow Diagrams, Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams.
* Design of Flare systems for Process Industries.
* Preparation of Process Datasheets for Heat Exchangers, Storage Tanks, Pumps, Compressors, Control Valves, Pressure Relief Valves.
* Maintenance of inter-departmental technical interfaces.
* Utilization of software for Process design like PROII, ASPEN PLUS, HTRI, PIPESIM and FLARENET.
Job Experience
* Exxon Mobile Project for Kawasaki Refinery Japan, worked as Design Engineer. Work involved heat exchangers design and performance check.
* Presson-Deson, Mazarani Gas field development Project, Pakistan. I worked as process engineer, work involved hydraulic calculations, P& ID development, equipment design.
* Atyrau Refinery Reconstruction Project, Kazakhstan, worked as process engineer. Work involved P& ID development.
* Sabic-Odico polypropylene Project, K.S.A., worked as process engineer. Work involved PSV inlet & outlet pipeline sizing.
* Design of sixteen shell & tube Heat Exchangers using HTRI (Heat Transfer Research Institute) software, for Bahrain Petroleum Corporation.
* Use of simulation model of SRU (Sulfur Recovery Unit) plant for JGC.

* Process design of multiple effect evaporator projects for Sitara Chemical Industries. The project includes hydraulics calculations, vessel sizing and design of Shell & Tube exchangers using HTRI software.

* Preparation of interconnecting P&ID's for Atyrau Refinery Complex.
Current Assignment
Working as Process Design Engineer on the Cosmo Oil Japan Project. Work includes thermal design/rating of shell & tube heat exchangers using HTRI software

* Two weeks in-house training, as an Internal Quality Assurance Auditor.
* In-house training of Process designing software like Pro II, Best Pipe, HTRI, PipeSim
* In-house training of Basic Engineering Design Practices.

Four month on job training in the JGC World Operation Center, Yokohama, Japan.
