SUMMARY
A total of eighteen years of professional work experience, sixteen years in the Gulf region, of which thirteen years were in the oil/gas and petrochemical construction projects. A computer literate and proficient in oral and written English communication skills. Experienced in civil, building, steel structures, fire proofing and refractory works.

Worked as a member of the Project Management Team (PMT) in a major refinery project in Qatar as a Civil/Structural Engineer that was commissioned in 2002. Worked as a Construction engineer, superintendent and as well as a QA/QC Engineer, working with reputable EPC contractors involved in large scale construction projects in the Petroleum Industry in the Gulf region.

Work experience included the construction of Oil Gathering Centres, Gas Booster Stations, Condensate Refinery Units, Fluid Catalytic Cracker Units, Sulphur Recovery Units, Utility and Off-Plot Facilities and currently is involve in the construction of the first Gas-To-Liquid project in Qatar which is now entering the commissioning stage. In addition, was also involved in the construction of EQUATE Petrochemical Complex in Kuwait and the construction of Urea and Ammonia project (QAFCO) in Qatar.

Civil QA/QC Engineer
Working with the first Gas to Liquid Project in Qatar as a Civil QA/QC Engineer working for the EPC contractor (TECHNIP ITALY SpA). Responsible for the quality control inspections at site for all civil and refractory works. Witnessing tests performed on concrete, soils and refractory works for heaters, autothermal reformers and waste heat boilers. Surveillance and enforced quality control at site and ensure that works are performed according to the approved project quality control plans and procedures. Ensure that all material certificates and quality records are complete for each item of works, prior to hand-over to the client.

Civil/Steel structure Construction Engineer
Worked in Qatar Fertilizer Company(QAFCO) Expansion Project as a construction engineer of the EPC contractor in-charged in marine civil works and the erection of all steel structures in Urea and Ammonia process units, Utilities and the material handling facilities of the project. Supervised sub-contractor for the construction of the extension of the existing jetties and the installation of offshore intake and outfall structures and its sub-sea pipelines. Evaluate and expedite resolution of field design changes, change notifications and review of AFC drawing revisions related to civil, building and structural steelworks. Evaluate and review the application for "milestone completion" related to civil, building and steel structures items of work submitted by the EPC contractor. Closely monitor contractor's conformance to the approved quality plans and procedure with the project's appointed third party inspectors. Review of mechanical completion document and generate punch lists related to civil, building and steel structures and was involved in the commissioning and plant start-up.

Conduct daily and weekly meetings with the sub-contractor to follow-up work progress and resolve outstanding issues of all related civil/steelworks. Monitor sub-contractor's strict adherence to HSE standard practice.
