Worked on various oil/gas and coal bed methane exploration and development projects (400+ wells) in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Northeastern British Columbia. (Western Canadian Sedimentray Basin) over a 15 year period. Also worked on a two well project (onshore) for EnCana Corporation in the country of Qatar.
Duties include overall supervision of wellsite geological operations which encorporates sample preparation, examination and description of drill cuttings and cores, operation of gas detection units (mud-logging) and supervising data acquisition from wireline logging units.
Abundant experience in vertical, directional and horizontal (conventional & underbalanced) drilling, which includes experience with logging while drilling (LWD), measurement while drilling (MWD) and geosteering.
Providing and distributing a final well report and log composite for each drilled well.

Supervised wellsite geological operations for EnCana Corporation in the country of Qatar (onshore). Duties included supervision, providing quality control and witnessing acquisition of geological samples/data from Mudlogging unit (Geoservices). Supervising data acquisition from Wireline logging unit as required and directed by the Wireline Logging QC or Operations Geologist. Providing sample and core descriptions and maintaining communications on a daily basis between the Field and the Head office in Doha, Qatar. Providing and distributing a final well report and log composite for each drilled well. Also acted as Operations Geologist in main office for a short period.

Supervised wellsite geological operations for Osum Oilsands Corp., Compton Petroleum Ltd. and Crescent Point Energy Trust.
