Phase II – High Tech Burners April, 2001 thru June 2002
Acting as field installation representative of innovative fuel gas burners (a collaborative product of Chevron, John Zink, and Calidus). These new burners have been installed in a ll remaining Chevron-Texaco furnaces and boilers, eliminating the need for future SCR's.
Butamer Project (Simultaneous to NOx Reduction Project)
Represented Chevron as maintenance representative for PDS modeling review of future Butamer facility. Acting as client representative of off plot piping for fabrication and installation of piping of a Butamer Plant (MTBE substitute). To date, I have assisted engineers and pipe designers and have saved the dlient many thousands of dollars by conceiving of eliminating a nitrogen storage facility and better off plot piping routing.

Hydrogen Manufacturing Unit A Furnaces
Acted as contractor – client construction representative and inspector of piping hydrotests, duct work construction, anhydrous ammonia injection skid, induced draft fan, and 100 foot stack, and catalyst loading. Represented client at vendor facility of 10-foot guillotine in Maine, and ammonia injection skid in Texas. The second SCR was not installed however.
