Post: Senior Reservoir Engineer in the Reservoir Modeling and Simulation Team.
Duties: Evaluate new modeling packages and building simulation models using ECLIPSE simulator
Responsibilities:
1 Performing Transient well test analysis using PANSYSTEM program and WELTEST200 for vertical and horizontal both oil and gas wells.
2 Building Wellbore Models for permeability adjustment.
3 Deriving rock and fluid properties using GeoQuest's PVT and SCAL programs.
4 Material balance and volumetric calculations.
5 Evaluate special studies software to measure wax and hydrate deposition
6 Tune the model history match and perform sensitivity cases.
7 Produce rock attribute maps using computerized mapping packages (CPS3-EARTH VISION )
8 Coupling fluid flow modeling with Geomechanical properties using GEOSIM program to interpret anomalies found between fluid flow model and field observed pressure data.
9 Building new simulation models using IRAP-RMS and PETREL Geological models
10 Evaluate new simulators.

Projects:
One of my projects was to build and history match a huge onshore carbonate reservoir model (Bu Hasa) with 460 wells using both coarse and fine grid models. Created different scenarios of depletion optimization using different recovery schemes (5 spot pattern and 9 spot pattern injectors)
