Made sure any drilling critical spares stock levels were always monitored i.e. mud pump spares, drawwork spares, rotary table spares, shaker screens and spares etc. Weekly got the storeman to check all stock cards to ascertain they were up to date as they were a backup to the computer in case it broke down.
Also responsible for all drilling chemicals keeping stock levels maintained.
During any delivery of drill pipe, drill collars, tubing, fishing tools or any drilling equipment etc. I accompanied the storemen to double check quantities delivered.
Responsible for all drilling materials damaged, surplus materials or shortages, looking after all paper work relating to this.
Raised all drilling material requisitions for any drilling equipment when required, at the same time always checked stock levels of items in warehouse to see if required, also checked on the computer and stock cards.
Checked on the drilling consumables i.e. dope, dope brushes, gloves etc. always stressing to the drill crew and storemen try if possible to keep costs down and keep within our budget.
Responsible for all drilling back-load materials including repair and return.
Responsible for all stock checks which were yearly whilst also getting storeman to do certain checks of the same materials monthly.
Responsible for all daily stores movement records and made sure no materials went out of the warehouse with the proper paper work.
Gave Drilling Supervisor a list of stock levels of all the critical spares once a month together with a list of rental material.
Responsible for all certification and filing relating to drilling and construction materials.
Responsible for all shipping manifests back-load and incoming.
Got each department drilling and construction to review min/max levels of certain materials once a month if the movement of materials changed
