WORK EXPERIENCE
ROKETSAN Missiles Industries Company (October 1999 – Current), Elmadag/ANKARA, TURKEY
Tooling engineer, Manufacturing Engineering Department. Fully responsible for the following:
- Planning and arranging the workflow in machine shop of prototype and tool production (PROTOTAM) that has 1 CNC machine (3-axis) and 1 3-axis NC milling machine, 1 NC EDM, 2 universal lathes, 1 surface grinding machine, 1 heat treatment oven and allocation of tasks to 1 technician and 5 operators,
- Give basic training on CNC machining codes and techniques of MAHO 600E CNC milling machine to operators,
- Designing and machining special tools by using PRO-Engineer CAD/CAM,
- Reviewing the documentation and maintenance schedules of tools and equipments thoroughly in all projects,
- Preparing proposals for the tooling and gauging equipments for new projects,
- Design of special gages (positional, plain, thread and etc…) via ISO, ANSI/ASME and BS standards including electronic and air gauging equipments,
- Design and installation of simple pneumatic and hydraulic systems in particular tools,
- Give support to the Research and Development Engineering Department on the feasibility of manufacturing of prototypes,
- Give support to the machining of some special parts in particular projects as a process engineer
