Exploration Geophysicist (contract)
* Interpreting 2D/3D seismic and associated well data using Geoquest IESX workstation in an international Deep Water new ventures project. Prepare evaluations and recommendations for presentation to management, partners, and government representatives associated with the area of interest.

CONOCOPHILLIPS, Houston, Texas 2001-2003
Senior Geophysical Advisor, North Africa/ Middle East New Ventures
* Updated play fairway maps for Ghadames Basin to define areas with oil and gas prospectively in Tunisia and Algeria, which allowed management to make informed investment decisions. These maps highlighted a regional play with up to 9 BBOIP.
* Evaluated 6 farm-out opportunities in North Africa requiring timely evaluation/risk assessment of offered acreage and presented results to senior management.
* Took part in 2001 Algerian bid round evaluation recommending positive bidding strategy for blocks 401D and 402.
* Completed workstation interpretation that led to the successful exploration well EOR-1 in Algeria concession El Ouar.
* Represented company interest in additional El Ouar activity that included acquisition and processing of area-wide 2D survey and the workstation interpretation of those data that led to the drilling of EOST-1 well.
* Lead technical roll in divestiture of properties in Tunisia and Algeria acquired by Conoco through acquisition of Gulf Canada which led to sale of Tunisian acreage for premium price, $2 million. Received bonus for contribution to this project.
* Completed interpretation of 2D/3D seismic data and associated well data using LandMark workstation in Pama blocks 5 and 7, Para-Maranhao Basin, Brazil.
* Technical team lead in evaluation of offshore Nile Delta concessions requiring rapid assessment of full field economics on large area with both well and 2D/3D seismic data. Area contained 9 discovered fields and 20 prospects, and reserves estimated at over 10 TCF. The final winning bid was in excess of $1.5 billion.

MARATHON OIL COMPANY 1982-2001
Senior Geophysicist, North Africa (1996-2001)
Member of exploration team responsible for both operations of company-held acreage in Tunisia and evaluation of additional acreage in Ghadames Basin.
* Created geologic/geophysical interpretation that led to successful drilling of Jenien-1 well in Tunisia. Project included reprocessing of multi-vintage seismic data set, acquisition of two 500 km seismic programs, and interpretation and presentation to management and partners.
* Farmed out 35% of Jenien concession to cover future seismic and well costs.
* Completed interpretation of well and 2D/3D seismic data that led to the acquisition of block 249 offshore Nigeria.
* Created evaluations for 8 separate opportunities in Peru, China, South Africa, Turkey, Tunisia, Egypt, and Algeria.

Area Geophysicist Aberdeen, Scotland (1994-1996)
Lead geophysicist for exploration team responsible for Marathon operated properties in North Sea (Brae Fields).
* Won equity arbitration case with major North Sea operator involving East Brae, a 300 million barrel condensate field.
* Maintained production in Brae area that peaked at 150,000 BOPD.

Exploitation Geophysicist London, England (1990-1994)
Worked exploitation projects, Marathon operated properties of Viking Graben.
* Developed exploration plays on company operated acreage that led to discovery of two presently producing fields (Beinn and Bracken) and continued development of four previously discovered fields (South Brae, Central Brae, North Brae, and East Brae).
* Liaised with contractor in the design and implementation for acquisition and processing of 4 offshore 3D surveys.
* Evaluated farm-out proposals from other operators in Viking Graben.
* Created interpretation and farm-out presentation for Marathon non-producing property which led to drilling of oil discovery, 16/8c-1, that has yet to be delineated.
