Dubai Dry Docks, may 2003-aug 2003
Position: Senior Work Preparator
- Co-ordinate the work program and its progress in the Work Preparation Section
- Ensure that the work and resources meet planed requirements
- Identify training needs and provide performance appraises of subordinates
- Liase with Ship Repair Managers and Supervisors of other trades to progress the work
- Audit working sketches prepared by Work Preparators
- Issue of Material Requisitions for contractual work
- Check installation on board if according with P & ID and Technical Specification
- Offshore experience. I have worked for conversion of "Mystras II" oil tanker in FPSO. For this project I have done layout and isometric dwg's for all fresh water system on board (fresh, cold, hot, distilled, potable, cooling water) for boilers, DG's, hydrophores, pumps etc. I also have provided surveying for installation of above-mentioned system, and others also.

Engine-Room Outfitting Design Engineer
- Collaboration pursuance between different departments (hull, electrical, machinery.
- New documents and drawings (installation and manufacturing drawings for pipes and pipe supports for all piping systems) compile general project, technical specifications, equipment specification, material and equipment specifications for price calculations and price offers requests.
- Correspondence compiles (internal and external correspondence between involved compartments which are managing the above mentioned documentation).
- Correspondence implementation between Yard Standards and Owner Standards. Estimation compiles (calculations) and Change Orders for Marketing Department.
- Technical Specification clarification, Installation calculation, Coordination plan, Equipment List, Weight calculations, Equipment calculations.
- Modification proposals in client's documentation when there are some vagueness or mistakes.
- Design pipes and pipe supports for (layout & fabrication dwg's): cooling, lube oil, fuel oil, air compressed, sewage, venting, fire fighting, bilge, ballast, deck drainage, CO2, exhaust gas, ventilation, cable protection, fresh water, potable water, domestic water, hot & cold water, steam and sounding system.

Navy Shipyard Mangalia, Jul. 1998-feb.2000
Position: Ship Manager
- Planning and scheduling shipbuilding for the Romanian Navy.
- Supervising ship construction from the first cut to delivery.
- As a Ship Manager, my main duty was to supervise and coordinate different teams of workers in the field (welders, carpenters, electricians, fitters, locksmiths, mechanics, etc.).
- This job also involves discussions with Owner, Purchasing Schedules for materials; clarify field problems with Design Department.
- Projects were I was involved:
